I enjoyed the first episode. Earth is a great dramatic actor, but I find his comedy waaaaay too over the top for my tastes. His whining, pouting and extreme facial expressions seem so fake to me. At least this time his character seems like a 12 year old instead of an 8 year old.
The boys all look great. So happy to see Mix, but wish he had a bigger role. Would love for Foam to have a love interest. Bas has improved so much. He deserves another shot at a lead role.
But all in all, this just feels every other college series. Not sure I'll stick this one out.
Decent performances, but some truly laughable plot developments. The worst fight sequences I have ever seen (or rather, not seen, just heard). But Milk is so damn cute.
Thankfully I found a good sub, because the first one I watched was IMPOSSIBLE to follow. Watched a 2nd time with a better sub and got so much more out of it. Thank you fansubbers.
It's interesting watching this given the cultural barrier. Like, it seems Mishima and Kirino are supposed to be…
This is set in the 1990s. I saw a "warning" that some of the language may be out-dated. Trans-awareness in Japan in the 90s was probably not as advanced.
So cute. I loved Isumi-kun. What a great character and Koki played him perfectly. Very slight and not a lot happened, but was filled with tenderness and care. I'll watch again.!
You have the right to your opinion and I think I understand it. However, before we go dashing Diew, let's just…
Oh I don't know. Your BOYFRIEND asks you a question... which has ZERO problematic issues for your relationship... why WOULDN'T you answer him? Especially when you know his misunderstanding is CAUSING problems. It's foolish BL writing to create drama where IRL there would be none.

Please explain to me why Diew could not say "The bracelet is from my father." That has ZERO to do with an ex and is a simple, easy and understandable explanation.
Argh. I HATED that ending. I don't like open endings like this. Wish they had found a way to make it feel like a complete story (even without them getting together) and not feel like I was left in the middle hanging. Or at least leave me on a compelling cliffhanger. This was just a no-resolution ending.
Before this show I thought I was done with High School BLs, but this was a master class in how to do it right. Yes, the slow burn was very slow. And yes both boys are CLEARLY in love with each other, so how they have not thought about that for 12 episodes is beyond me, but I loved 99.9% of this show. I will watch Benjamin "think" anytime. You can read every thought so clearly. He's amazing.
Dark, unforgiving, brutal and absolutely beautiful. I love the glimpse into this world. What a casting coup for Sawamura Rei. His innocent face contrasted to his story in the most jarring and compelling manner. Beppu Yurai was haunted and fragile in a way few BL actors could have handled so well. Due to its subject matter I probably won't rewatch, but this is definitely a very strong series.
My least favorite of their recent short series. The story was all over the place. Great production values and strong acting, but these stories just don't grab me. I'll skip their next iteration

Can't wait for S2.
