A pleasant start. Reminds me of a softer version of Utsukushi Kare. I agree with Takara that it's a bit creepy. But I'm already falling for these two characters. I hope they develop and we get to see more sides of them.
I’m glad Jaemin stopped immediately and owned his boyfriend. I agree that cheating is a choice one makes and…
@aquadrone22 I don't love the phrases either, but I merely wanted to imply that I didn't justify his behavior, while still allowing him the space to be 3 dimensional and understandably conflicted. I agree that these types of issues are very real and relatable and when handled with care and artistry (we'll see how this one ends up), they can be some of the most affecting and impactful BL.

I know "cheating is cheating", but we also have to consider that Jaemin is in his very first relationship, just discovering his MM desires and he's still VERY young. There's a lot of chaos in his pretty little head and this new guy is using every tool to keep it going, so he can get his way. It doesn't justify his behavior, but you can perhaps understand it a bit more.
That said, this was a tough episode to watch. I felt sad that Jaemin didn't have the will to resist.
Not trying to be shady, but... did Frank have some work done? His face looks different to me. Thinner overall, thinner nose. Could be the make-up. He looks great, banging body, obviously. Maybe he's just growing up.
I can't believe he was so young when he started in CYMB, and he's still chasing boys all these years later!
Adorable. Great performances from the everyone, but highest praise for Son Hyun Woo. He stole my heart. Just beautiful…
Just watched for 2nd time. While I feel pretty much the same, it's funny how things hit you differently. Han Baram was so frightened... of everything. He became almost frozen. I didn't feel it was justified after a while. The teacher was so inappropriate/handsy (and he looks so old that it's creepy. Everything would have felt different if he was a 20-something idol-type. The touching, the betrayal.) Hantae appears head over heels from Day 1. He had his hands all over Baram, ALL THE TIME. How does he not even contemplate his feelings, and how does Baram not misinterpret or at least inquire? They shove it in our faces, but it just came across stronger to me this viewing... the cat and dog. Baram is sulky and a loner and Hantae is over-eager and relentless like a dog with a bone. I think the actors truly used those animals as inspiration for their performances. Hantae was such a frisky puppy. Just how cute and fluffy they are together. It really is one of the sweetest relationships with two pure souls, and one fantasy prince charming (Im Hantae). Their chemistry is off the charts. And I had forgotten the kissing. How did I forget that? Finally: It's My Fault/Letter of Apology. One of the most haunting melodies and vocals EVER. I'll probably watch again.
So true. But this is often the case in BL. It's the 3rd wheel guy who is always the bravest character, who puts himself on the line, says what he thinks/feels, is vulnerable, COMMUNICATES! And then gets rejected. :)
I like a sports BL, and it looks like they've done some great training. I know there was editing involved, but they had some impressive moves on the courts. These two fit their roles well, so the acting was strong, Meen especially. Add a mob boss who ain't afraid to show us his butt and I am in. All the quick-cut flashbacks were intriguing, and made me want to know more about this couple and their backstories. All in all a good intro.
Well produced. Strong actors. Natural performances. Love the LGBTQIA+ messages... but I know a lot of smart high school students and none of them speak like this. Feels like a 40 year old man in a teenager's body. A bit too preachy but overall strong.
"Did you have someone write this for you, because it's really well written." - WHAT? You just meet a guy, you know nothing about him, and the first thing you do is insult him by saying he obviously did not write something well written. I sure hope this guy turns out to be a villain.
Despite the slowest burn and nothing but unexpressed feelings - I really enjoyed this one. Loved that Shirasaki-kun put so much into his acting, doing everything he could to understand his character. He was such a sweet innocent young man, but oh so willing to do whatever he could for his craft. I also liked that the couple did NOT get together until after filming ended, so there could be no confusion about why they were together. This was not Taisuke's strongest episode but all in all I was satisfied with the ending.
I watch this show on 2x and it's still the slowest burn ever. The MC have been flirting for 11 eps, kissed multiple times, but he's still "surprised" when he says he likes him.
Just how many levels of "asking someone out" are there? First I need to pursue you, then win you over, then ask you to go out, then declare we're a couple, then call ourselves boyfriends. Then, then, then. It's the same with Toey/Q. They declared their interest and EVERYONE knows they're dating, but now they have to declare they are boyfriends? What? What were you, if not boyfriends? I don't understand this dating "logic"
What was the point of the "i don't eat seafood" scene? What was the point of the horse riding scene? Thai BL has become nothing but cutesy fluff filler and very little character development. Q has changed from this stoic non-verbal non-emotive character to one who is all sniff-kisses and clingy hugs. These writers need to go back to school.
And Phuwin is the worst kisser. Don't get me wrong, he's one of the reasons I watch BL, but dang he looks so uncomfortable. You can see him pulling his head away in the middle of their kisses. Sad.
Didn't want to watch. Didn't want to like. But I did. And I DID! Great acting across the boards. All 3 main boys YH, SK, JM were fantastic. Yoon Chan Young playing both roles side by side in the last ep showed his range. The ending was not what I wanted, but that's true for 95% of supernatural shows for me, anyway. Bong Jae Hyun... I'll be watching everything you do from here on.

DROPPED.
Just does not have the charm of the JBL.
