I feel like most asian countries tend to use the same word for disease, illness, and condition. So in english,…
Yes, I did suspect it was just a translation issue, and I'm willing to cut them some slack. But we all know how important representation is, and that includes the correct verbiage, that's just why I'm sensitive to it.
I know they're brothers, but the real chemistry here is Nuea/Fah. They just seem so comfortable and happy in their scenes together. There is chemistry between Nuea/Kluen as well, but it's so much stronger with Fah. (NOT suggesting an incestuous romance, folks. Just talking about chemistry between actors).
Mon is a bit dull, but he hasn't done anything wrong and deserves some happiness, although I am looking at it…
I don't have an opinion on who's endgame, but it seems to me Saint's purpose was to allow Mon to heal from his past and show him his worth. Only someone who knew him from before, knew what happened to him, what he went through and how far he's come could really show Mon his true self.
Now, why either of the guys would want Mon (apart from being cute and having some nice arms (love the shaved pits!) is beyond me.

First... wow. Kudos for even attempting to tackle a subject like this, and more kudos for doing it fairly well. I expected something along these lines, but didn't know enough about intersexuality to figure this out exactly.
Next, a question... how would this affect his body in a way that he would not want Le to see? He clearly does not have breasts. Are they implying he has had some kind of breast reduction surgery? (I guess that's still to be revealed, but it confused me)
Lastly, it may just be the sub I watched, but there were some disturbing wording. Amber calls his chromosomal abnormality an "inherited disease" and an "illness".
Intersexuality is neither a disease nor illness. For as much as the show got right, it's important for them to use the correct identifying labels. If people continue to see intersexuality as a disease, it will continue to be stigmatized. Let's remember that people used to think being gay was a disease. Of all people, Amber should have been the one using the proper wording. I hope it was just a poor sub, and if so, I hope this can be corrected.
But again, props for doing such a good job. I'm humbled to be taught something from a BL (or whatever you want to label this show... for those of you who need labels) and glad to have some light shone on this oft-ignored part of our population and their struggles.
I guess I have to cut this one some slack since it's from 2015, but overall I thought it was crap. They replaced character development with TONS of montages and really poorly choreographed and filmed soft core scenes. It did not feel like these two built a relationship that was satisfying. Most of the movie they felt like strangers, then the attempted rape and then suddenly they're lovers. Poor camera work, poor scripting, poor direction. Decent acting for two newbies. Surprised neither went on to have a real career. Apparently this was the ONLY thing Puangphong made. He probably thought his career would be reduced to half naked scenes and close ups of his nipples. Shame. They both showed some potential. Not a fan of the bittersweet ending, though not every story has to end happily. Overall,a disappointment.
Had to binge the whole series for the 2nd time (well, 3rd if you count how many episodes I watched twice during its initial run). It's an acting master class, only elevated by the sure handed direction. Can't wait to see them both again.
I am with you on the prolonged kisses, but I have come to take it as "this is a moment frozen in time." IRL the…
I know what you mean. The worst for me is when they seem to rewind a few seconds... lips are almost touching, then the next angle, they are just starting the embrace, then the lean in, then... next angle, they're just starting the embrace. It's like Groundhog Day every 10 seconds.
I couldn't take Rak Diao. Had to drop, fire or not.
Some over the top ridiculousness. Not a big fan of the hyper exaggerated expressions from the lead, but it's a cute, funny premise. You can't expect any realism from the outset, given the bad luck/good luck story, so I'm along for the ride. Sato Yusuke is far too dreamy. Consider me hooked. His character is just about the sweetest thing ever. I love how he's all in from the very start. No questions asked, and no gossip either. Swoon. This bit of fluff is a fun diversion . Looking forward to more.
I'm getting a little tired of th 45-minute lean-in to a kiss. Nobody does that. And it more or less guarantees…
I am with you on the prolonged kisses, but I have come to take it as "this is a moment frozen in time." IRL the kiss happens in a second, but they choose to show us the slo-mo, from 117 different angles to show us the "importance" of this moment. These moments are engraved in the minds of the characters. They remember every detail and fraction of a movement, so it "appears" to be in slo-mo.
It's kind of like when Neo bends over backwards and doesn't get hit by the bullets in Matrix. That takes a millisecond, but it plays out for 1 minute on screen.
That's just me, trying to make something out of these moments so they don't drive me crazy. I may be totally off base.
This one has always been iffy for me, but Ep 4 really got me riled.
I was glad Tian FINALLY told Amy he was interested in someone... but then he still lets her cling to him and put her head on his shoulder. Mixed messages much? Also... ugh. Who does this? Get some self respect, Amy.
And why were she and the other friend hanging out (and SLEEPING!) in Tian's office? Don't these people have lives/jobs? Don't they respect that the owner of a hotel might be busy and have actual work to do?
BEFORE Neung even meets Poon, Amy says Poon is rumored to win the Chef competition. How? He hasn't even entered yet.
And somehow... from her desk on the upper floors, Pirada knows all about the fight in the kitchen?
Ridiculous plotting by lazy writers who don't care if their shows have any semblance of reality.
Started at regular speed, couldn't take it. 1.5 was still too slow. Even at 2x speed this bored the hell out of me. I counted 10 different shots/angles for one meaningless hug. 10 shots of Copter eating shrimp and cake. There is no substance and very little character. These two are not my favorite actors to begin with, so I don't think I can suffer through this one. DROPPED.
First Ep. Wanted to drop because of the girl. I know she's MEANT to be comedic but I found her infuriating. So many poor choices made in the script and direction. What's with all the weird editing, making it seem like BaDa is dioriented, when he's merely just looking around a room? I'll give it a shot, but not expecting much.
I'm still unsure if Mickey did it just to prove a point during their conversation or if there was a real attraction…
And in all fairness, Q was not supposed to be receptive (at least outwardly), so I can understand it being somewhat awkward. But their lips barely touched.
I just don't find Tae that compelling as an actor. He's okay, but somehow just doesn't make me feel anything. And Tee is unfortunately unconscious or dead for most of Ep 1., so he doesn't bring anything to the table. I usually find time loops clever and interesting, but this one just doesn't interest me. Dropped.
3 episodes in and I'm enjoying it. I like the lawyer angle and what appears to be some upcoming danger/suspense. Shi Cheng Hao... gulp. So Beautiful. Like the sister and dad characters. Too many drunken/fall into a kisses, but hey it wouldn't be BL without a few tropes, would it?
