This one is okay so far. A lot of familiar elements, but I think the satire/parody element saves it. That chancellor is extra but at least she's funny. But Fluk/Mek not so much for me. He's way over the top. He yells so many of his lines. I know they are supposed to be "enemies to lovers" but you don't have to scream all the time. I was annoyed for a second when the two sisters became shippers, but then I remembered they're poking fun at all the cliches. Those girls are pretty good and super cute too (if you're into girls, haha). Bomb melts my heart. When Bear called him by his name, the look on his face was priceless. I'm not 100% "in" on this one, but it's a cute distraction.

Cute and sweet and Naoya is EVERYTHING. I had some problems with Kota's over-the-top reactions and I wish his character had developed more over time, but overall it was a delightful bit of fluff. Very innocent, even leaving the lovers with barely a chaste peck for the entire series, but they made up for it with the tender connection and understanding between the two young men. The last episode gave them each a nice moment to explain their characters and behavior. Both actors were decent, though limited and did I mention Naoya is EVERYTHING. The boyfriend everyone would want, the friend we all long for and the eye candy we all crave. I might rewatch portions of this again, although I don't think I need to see the whole thing from beginning to end.

2nd ep better than the first. I still think Fah behaves very differently than he did in the prequel, but I'm trying to just view him as a new character. He's a bit of a jerk and so is Prince, so I'm waiting for them to show the softer side of their personalities. The strip-soccer game was ridiculous (but enjoyable), and the doctor who doesn't seem to know how to administer to any patient except to put a band-aid on a knee is laughable. Do his 2 friends do ANYTHING? Why does the teacher have to tell the kids... they surely have seen countless animals killed for food. It's all a bit forced, but Fah is so damn cute I'll watch him trim nose hairs.

This was fairly mediocre. I liked Boss. He has a lot of charisma. Peter was okay. I found Bank and Bonus to be flat and uninteresting with zero chemistry. The story had too many logic flaws, many of the characters were unappealling. I found them retreading the same story territory over and over, so I lost interest about halfway through. Towards the end I HAD to watch at 2x because it was just too painful. I won't watch again, and in all honesty, I would not recommend unless you're a BL addict (like me) who has to watch EVERYTHING (like me).

As I said, he is acting in character. I understand why he was initially freaked out by everything. But this is NOT real life. This is a story with a limited amount of time to have a character develop, change and grow. I don't want him to be fully 100% IN and switch character, but I would like to see him grow a bit more and change parts of his behavior, as he opens up and allows love/friendship/companionship into his life. Now, the writers have to make him do a 180 in one episode, rather than a slow progression.

You took what I said to the extreme. Of course I want more than just a montage of kisses and hand holding. I love complex story telling. I like shows that bring in more than just romance. The first season was so great because it had Ji Woo's restaurant problems and Seo Jun's controversy and secret. Those issues complicated their relationship, but were not the problems WITHIN the relationship. But when you invest so much in a couple and their love story, to see them broken apart like this is a bit heartbreaking.

This was not what I was expecting. I was hoping for lovey-dovey moments with some side drama thrown in, but this breaks my heart. Ji Woo seems to have regressed to worse than when we met him in S2 and Seo Jun is waaaaay too clingy. He doesn't understand boundaries or that No Means No. Still, I love these two and I'm in it for all the secrets. I wish I could hold off and binge but I know I'll be back every week for a fix.

I found this episode (#7) a little odd. Suddenly, with only one episode left, we get Naoya's POV and backstory. Suddenly, we get the GL. Suddenly, we get this kidnapping plot. All a bit much for the penultimate episode. Kota is acting in character, but I feel like we keep retreading the same issues over and over again. Don't get me wrong, it's still super cute and I'm ALL IN for Naoya, I hope the finale is a satisfying conclusion.

There are some decent moments. Some of the acting is strong - some not so much (Sorry, Bear), the comedy and tone are unusual, but it may take some getting used to.
SECOND EPISODE: All a little better, or maybe I'm just accustomed to it.
The cliches are on purpose and they only get away with them because they're playing them for comedy.
Looking into the camera, the winks to audience are a bit too much, but they went for a tone and they're achieving it.
The Chancellor's secret was unexpected, I should have seen it coming.

ON HOLD. Subs are pretty bad. I've watched two different subs and both were troublesome. It's probably due to the original script being full of dialogue that is not meant to be translated verbatim. I'll wait and if I can find some decent subs I may try again - but I'm not sure this is worth it.

DROPPED. First episode was an entire waste of time. Why do the Pinoy's like to show endless "interview" scenes. I've seen it in so many shows. Let's delete all character for some random extras that will never be seen again. Second episode was dreary exposition done poorly. First, he's swooning because he got some droopy flowers? Is he a teenager? His phone rings 100 times and he barely looks at it... because he got flowers? He compliments how he cooks a HOT DOG? Ridiculous. Fall into a kiss. Really?

Poor Rex. 2nd Daddy-Son series. Unless he has a Daddy fetish I'm sure he's wishing he could be in a same-age couple.

I'm only halfway through the first episode and I have to ask... are these the same two characters from the prequel - because neither Fah nor Prince behaves the way they did one episode prior. Prince has been shy, polite, humble and helpful - but here he's brash, aggressive, self-righteous. Fah was always thoughtful, kind, patient - bit here he's neglectful, disrespectful, buffoonish. And what was a fairly straightforward romcom in the prequel has turned into over the top, over-acting SFX heavy slapstick nonsense. Not looking forward to this is... and I was IN LOVE with Fah. So sad.

All in all, an average show. I liked most of the actors more than I liked the show itself or their characters. It was light, familiar stuff with nothing really new except maybe a boy who knows he likes boys from the onset (but even those are becoming more common these days). I felt it started better than it ended (if you can call it "the end" since it will continue in the sequel). Like many BL it seemed to suffer from the writers forgetting what their characters had done/gone through/said and repeated itself quite a bit. I think Kluen told Dao all the things he had done for him in High School 3 separate times, and Dao pretended he was hearing them for the first time on each occassion. Lame writing. But nothing horrible here, just nothing to really single out as remarkable either. I won't be watching again. Too many better shows for a re-viewing.

WTF? So convoluted. More like a fever dream than an actual story. Jumps all over the place. Made very little sense. Expects the audience to assume most of what they claim later happened. Not satisfying at all. So much potential wasted. Thank God it was only 5 very short eps, but in all honesty, I wish I had gotten all that time back. So disappointing.

Yes, in REAL life, that's usually how it goes. But this is BL... written mainly for teenage girls in cultures where homosexuality is not as open as the West. Some of my favorite BL series end with one chaste kiss. To me, it's about the story and the characters and their romance, not the sex (but don't get me wrong, I love the sexy ones too!)

That said, I do not like the "stop kissing me, what are you trying to do, you pervert" mentality that permeates so much BL - especially when it happens AFTER they have declared their love and relationship.

Very sweet and satisfying ending. I thought Le's breakdown with his mother was exceptional. They said a lot, but they said a lot more with what went unsaid. Even scenes like the tickling at the end felt so natural, as if these two have indeed been friends forever and this was second nature to them. Great acting all around. A story unlike any other BL I've ever seen (and I'm over 100 series), with characters I came to love even with their flaws. Sure, some tropes and mis-steps along the way, but all in all a moving and thought-provoking series that I would be happy to revisit again. KUDOS to all involved. Can't wait to see what's next for all the actors and the production company.

There has been this pattern of two steps forward, one step back throughout, but in Ep 7 it got on my nerves. Kluen has confessed several times already, and yet Dao still seems shocked every time he hears it. They also basically repeated the same dialogue from previous episodes. Kluen said, I may be smart, but I'm stupid when it comes to love. And Gia said the same thing in this episode. Most of her speech was stuff Kluen had already said to Dao. I also thought this was one of Dunk's weaker eps. Oh well. I'm happy they're together and finally talking it all out. Communication is the key, as I've learned myself. Not sure I need another episode. It will just be fluff and cheesy declarations (and the set up for the Sky portion) but I can't wait to see Fah in a lead role.
