4 episodes in and I find this one kinda bland. It's not offensive or bad, but it's also not very interesting. But it does seem to be improving ep to ep, so I'l keep watching.

It was all wrapped up a little too quickly and there were some major shifts in character so they could end it all nicely but overall a very satisfying ending with all of our characters growing and learning and becoming better people by the end. That's a major feat in any show, but virtually unheard of in BL. Kudos to all involved.

4 really strong characters... and then there was Tae Kyung. Oh well. Can't win them all.

Great friends and allies that made me fall in love with the entire cast. Even without a love story, I would watch these characters.

I don't know how others judge a love triangle, but keeping me guessing the outcome until Ep 16 (even tho I knew the outcome from Ep1) was a great job by the writers. A million little details that added so much to the overall.

Seems like we'll get S2, from the Teacher's tease and the "our story is just getting started" line. YAY! But I'll rewatch this again and again.

So... the new kid... with poor social skills... and only 3 friends in the school... wins the popularity contest. Hmm. Ok. LOL

Wow, y'all are gonna hate me, but 2 episodes in and I'm not feeling this one at all. I'm very tired of near-catatonic characters who never answer questions and who look like they're going to implode ALL THE TIME. Get some therapy. (I know there's a reason for his anguish, but it's too over the top for me). I've never met anyone who acted like this - and I've known plenty of folks who have experienced tragedy in their lives.

BL loves a boy who is damaged to the point that they can barely function in society. (I suppose so his one true love can "save" him). But I find it more annoying than endearing. They don't build in enough LIKEABLE traits to counter-act the unlikeable traits. They think we'll fall in love with him because he's a hurt little puppy dog. But in real life you don't like someone because they're damaged. You might have sympathy for them, but they need to have traits you like as well.

I'm not buying the attraction between the two leads and it feels a bit too contrived. Doubt I'll be able to finish this one. Go ahead, start the bashing...

I guess the whole contest was so he and ShinWoo could go shopping together? (For a horrible outfit) and so there could be moments where the boys touch each others faces putting on make up (Ummm... even I would not put on make up in high school). Otherwise I see no reason for the contest and certainly not for the win.

It's so often the problem and not just in BL, but any series. The lead character is the least interesting, but I agree, here they have made one of the blandest characters ever and had two very complex and interesting boys fall for him. But that's teenagers, right? I didn't fall for the guy who treated me best, I fell for whoever I crushed on at that moment in time. Usually they were 100% wrong for me.

I also agree that I don't really care what happens to TK. But I do care what happens to DO and SW. They should just have a throuple with Nam Goong.

And I would like to ban sweaters from all BL. Then again, fashion is not my forte. I'm sure the Korean teen girls are loving the sweater-tornado.

I agree, that none of the characters know what they want. They're teenagers. I didn't know either. And most of the time, I still don't know.

We don't have these kind of Contests here, so I'm unfamiliar with the whole "Prince" idea (or "Moon" in the Thai series) and the criteria for selection. But, all TK did was introduce himself (very poorly... with everyone complaining he should get off stage) and then he WINS??? Is it just a beauty contest? (Still don't think he would win).

Had to watch at 2x. I found Luigi far too stiff and non-expressive to get invested in the pairing. Han Jing Chen was good in his role. Wavered between laughably bad to sweet at times. Not a fan of the ending, but recognizing this was probably an attempt to appease some officials. One of the worst kisses ever, but again will forgive it knowing the challenges the production faced. I won't rewatch. Not sure you should either.

Since the people reading the criticism here are fans and not the people who actually made the show, I don't see how the criticism could harm anyone. Even then, when you make a series, you know not everyone will like it and you expect criticism. Gun is NOT coming here hoping that we liked his performance. He's pretending to be gay for fans somewhere and taking it to the bank.

Well, this was a silly bit of fluff that I thoroughly enjoyed. Ridiculous premise should set up your expectations. Don't expect anything other than some goofy heartwarming fun. Don't use logic when you're viewing. Just go along for the ride. The comedy was underplayed but I still enjoyed it. Everything was given short-shrift due to the episode length. Why they felt the need to have so many flashbacks when they hardly had any time to tell the actual story is beyond me. This could have easily been twice as long and even more enjoyable if they'd allowed some of the situations to really develop. The actors all did their best with the limited screenplay. Lee Se Jin looked remarkably feminine (aside from the voice and adam's apple). I enjoyed it, despite its shortcomings. Rewatch value is low for me. Not enough character development for me to be truly invested and therefore want to come back and revisit their journey. But worth a quick binge..

Mixed bag for me. The cast is gorgeous and I want them all to find a BF. I agree there is some decent communication, although it's still takes them too long to express themselves and the standard BL 3-reaction shots between each awkward moment only drag it out even more. But nice to see the beginnings of a somewhat healthy relationship.

But Fiat whines ALL THE TIME. It's quite annoying. Isn't it too late to whine about Leo moving into a new house AFTER he's moved in? That convo should have happened long ago. I don't buy his awkward/nervous/shy about intimacy moments, since he's supposed to be so experienced. Yes, I know it's different now that he's with the one he's loved for so long, but it's just a fantasy BL moment that is so contrived it bugs. Neither of them are virgins. Stop making them act like they are. I also don't buy the "i'm jealous of your brother" angle. What kind of a** is jealous of someone's brother?

Speaking of Leon... GULP. He is stunning, but I didn't need 5 minute slo-mo of his arrival at the airport, or the sexy stares at all the guys and girls in the coffee shop. Gratuitous much?

Slut shaming and vicious rumoring... oh right, this is a BL. I forgot those tropes are mandatory.

I'll probably continue watching, unless the whining continues.

This was a strange roller-coaster of a series and the finale was probably one of my least favorite episodes. They rushed to tie everything up and they had so much that they wanted/needed to do that it felt like everything got shorted. Why introduce the idea of a 6 year separation, if it only lasts 3 scenes and then they reunite? We haven't felt any of the pain/suffering from either character. Take a note from We Best Love and save the reunion for S2 (not that I would watch S2, unless it was solely PitchBank)

When did PitchBank become official boyfriends? Feels like an episode or at least some scenes got cut out. I'm happy to see them together and acting cute, but I missed those initial "we are officially..." moments and the awkward beginnings of them as a couple.

The kissing was horrible. Felt like these two lost whatever chemistry they had (which wasn't great to begin with). It was very robotic and I didn't feel any connection.

Thank you, producers, for implying actual sex. But how about letting Sky look like he's enjoying it rather than being in pain (and I don't think this was Gun's acting. He can look happy and satisfied when he's directed to).

Overall, mediocre at best. As much as I liked PitchBank there wasn't enough of them to make me want to come back and rewatch this series.

Seems normal to me. Series has ended, so they're gonna comment on how much they liked/disliked it. If there are more negative comments, it doesn't mean more "haters", it means the show isn't very good.

Yes, they really like to draw this out as much as possible. Flashbacks have been problematic from Ep 1 and continue to distract from the present moment and the actual feelings these characters are having RIGHT NOW. Both of these actors are good, so I know they could convey what is needed without the reminder of their past.

Agree, the relationship seemed to have stalled for this episode. What happened to the cute flirty/teasing moments after they slept together? This episode could have used a little of that.

Another thing I find distracting is that in these VERY long monologues each character has, they stage it so they stare off into space and never make eye contact. It's an odd directorial choice that I feel lessens the connection the two boys are trying to make with each other. And it feels totally artificial. You don't look away from people when you're telling them your deepest feelings, unless there's shame attached.

There's a link (above) to an interview and Man says the ending makes you feel "warm" so I don't know if it's gonna be sad or hopeful. We shall see.

I just wish there had been some hint that NamGoong had a motive. A wink or anything would have been enough.

Yes, I STARTED Top Secret In Love. Couldn't finish. But the sweaters were hilarious!

I'm confused. Nam Goong is the self-proclaimed stylist. So why does he assign ShinWoo (who doesn't even know the TERM effortless chic) as his "manager" and have them shop for clothes together? (Yes, it MIGHT be to have them spend time together, but no hints of that in this ep)

I love (meaning hate) that the only thing they really shop for are over-sized sweaters. When did those become effortlessly chic? And why do boys with hot bodies want to wear anything over-sized?

Boys in berets... please... no.

I'm gonna miss these beautiful boys.
