It was never explained why Shin Woo was so mean in the first episodes. I assume it has something to do with his…
I agree. This is also the only nit that I would pick.
Some here have speculated that Shin Woo had been attracted to TK well before TK joined the Council. From there (keeping with your theory) Shin Woo freaked out when TK showed up as a potential Council member because his feelings had got him in trouble before.
Still, even if that's the case I think they should have softened Shin Woo's personality a little.
I guess I'm odd man out. I agree with everyone about the hot bodies of both leads, but otherwise I thought the story was hum-drum and predictable. Some of the humor fell flat too, and that includes all the histrionics and commentary by the resort hostess. An actual luxury resort would fire such a nosy creature asap.
The episode does get credit, though, for introducing me to the gorgeous OST "Our Song" by Adelyn Paik, which I immediately bought from iTunes.
I'll certainly "check out" the main series once it starts (if only to keep seeing Best with no shirt) and hopefully it will make a better impression.
Whatever the reason Pob has for being interested in Leo, I hope it's not amorous. Please let it be a false alarm…
They've already started revising the past by saying that Fiat really did want to steal Type away from Tharn in TT2, whereas in the big confession scene after the kidnapping it was all about how Fiat was just desperate to get Leo's attention.
Whatever the reason Pob has for being interested in Leo, I hope it's not amorous. Please let it be a false alarm on Leon's part.
I also hope that the series won't be trying to rewrite Fiat's slutty past by making it seem like he was sleeping around out of kindness, rescuing others from their bad relationships. They might be afraid to ruin the vibe of the new Fiat in DSN by reminding us too much of the Fiat from TT2. I say bring it on!
I googled him and just about any other pic that turns up is better than the one they used here. But I know the MDL rules for actor portraits: no take-backs!
This episode was pretty good. Character motivation is still a mystery but at least lots of stuff happened.
And for all the lack of production values, when those boys kissed they really went to town. It's like they were just waiting for the director to give them permission.
The overall rating dropped from 8.1 to 7.7 after the final episode. Probably many people were disappointed by…
I, too, immediately suspected that Jae Eon had sabotaged the sculpture to make Na Bi "need him" again. It would have been easy for him to cut the ceiling fan loose so it would fall.
The fact that nobody bothered to check the security camera footage or even speculate about it shows how lame the writers are. They were so set on using that setup to force the two to team up again.
I didn't think of the drawing, though. Very good idea!
not that simple.. i am sure they have slept together again.. so no rejection here..PJE doesn't do dating etc..…
He is giving Na Bi the illusion that they are dating ... and when she isn't looking he's tomcatting like usual. He's incapable of sincerity. That's the essence of his character.
The rejection he couldn't stand was in Episodes 9 and 10. At the end of Episode 10 of course she has taken him back. His ego will be eased for a while ... until he gets bored by the committed relationship's lack of conquest and the next girl asks for his number.
And Na Bi appears to acknowledge this. By taking him back she knows she will be hurt again. What's sad about her is she doesn't care.
In the very last scene we're given a sure sign that PJE hasn't changed a bit.
We see the two girls talking to him:
"Do you have a girlfriend?" "Can I have your number?"
"My number?" PJE asks. Then he sees Na Bi approaching. "I have plans," he says to the girls.
He never tells them that he has a girlfriend, and even leaves the impression that he would have given out his number if he wasn't already with someone for the day.
He didn't fall in love, folks -- he simply couldn't stand rejection.
Reading comments on dramacool'Listen up I a soooooo happy with this . Finally song kang got his girl ahaahhahahahahahahahahaa.…
Dramacool denizens are people who want everything free and leech off of the hard work and creativity of others. The attitude behind these comments fits right in with that.
The fact that nobody thought that maybe the sculpture had been sabotaged? I kept waiting for a scene where someone would show Na Bi the security camera footage.
I think this series blew it by giving happy and conclusive endings only to the side couples. The main characters are all left in limbo! Very stupid.
I'm pretty sure the very last scene with Lukmo and Simai's reunion was set two years later. It felt rather pointless, though, because we still don't know if Simai was finally told that he and Lukmo aren't truly blood-related and could be bangin' like crazy if they wanted to.
I'm guessing that the scene at the cafe with Phob, Eak, and Namo was added by using earlier footage. I wouldn't be surprised if the original script gave us a relationship between Phob and Eak, but with Aof/Phob unable to shoot new scenes they probably decided to plug in that other scene and went with the idea that even after Eak's constant phone calls to Phob telling him how much he wants to be with him, he would suddenly decide that they should remain friends for now.
What a mess.
Anyway, speaking of mess, the only part of the finale I can't comment on is Both and Newyear's. Those guys creep me out, so I've been skipping their scenes ever since the sloppy tongue-kiss in the party episode. Yuck.
Gets better and better. Not a dull moment to be had! After today's series finales it's reassuring to see that Frigay has this bright light to keep leading us into the weekends. I'm glad I watched this last.
The comfort level that Ja and First had with each other in TT2 has continued into this series. That opening scene sizzled! And to go from that to Leo holding Fiat as he cried -- these two really make the relationship believable and heartfelt.
I love the twins and I really like Anda too. Anda is the female friend that every gay guy needs, with her own style and lots of quiet confidence. I hope we'll see more of her.
Finally a great ending to a BL. The start of the episode to the end was really great. No leaving us hanging till…
When the episode started like that -- resolving the love triangle within the first few seconds -- I thought that these people really understand their audience and knew how we'd be feeling by that point.
I wish more series would resolve early enough to serve up such big helpings of fluff before saying goodbye.

They need to stop with this nonsense lol.
I also like "Love Area" a lot but I give DSN the edge (for now.)
I'm holding off on the last few episodes of "The Yearbook" until I know whether anyone gets killed off at the end.

I fell in love with the series by Episode 3 but have held off since then. I hope I'll have a wonderful reason to finish it.
And for all the lack of production values, when those boys kissed they really went to town. It's like they were just waiting for the director to give them permission.
I'm loving where Jedi's storyline is going, too!

This could have been a great and groundbreaking drama. Instead it's another insipid fantasy built around toxic people pretending to be in love.
So disappointing.
