Four episodes in and I don't know how much more I can take of the FL. It's like when she travels back in time her IQ drops 50 points. Such an annoying busybody, blurting out things that make no sense in the context of the past. She has no filter and has to be the world's dumbest time-traveler.
The Leon/Pob storyline is so cute. Leon looked truly wounded when the kiss didn't succeed.
I like that Leo and Fiat were kept in a humorous vein for this episode. It made the little "shock" at the end with the opposing player all the more jarring. Reality sets in: Fiat does have a past. And it's reassuring to me that they're not going to gloss this one over like Fiat only slept around for charity.
Two observations: Anda remains one hot lady, and during the bleacher scenes at the end it looked like we now had triplets in the cast instead of just twins. I was like "What the ...?"
Episodes 1-6 is only part 1 of the series. There is another 4 episodes after episode 6 airs but I'm not sure when…
Ugh. That's probably because of COVID complications and the like, which means we might never see the conclusion ... or we'll see a conclusion where everybody talks on the phone. Phooey. :(
Are Valen and Kaitoon really going to end up as the main couple? I've watched only through Episode 4 but according to GagaOoLala there's only two episodes left, and there still seems to be so much distance between them. I really hope there's ten episodes otherwise I can't imagine how they can become a couple in a believable way.
Is Kaitoon really that much of a catch? He seems a little airheaded and aloof. Cute as the devil but despite all of the attention directed his way he doesn't project anything back toward anyone else other than the same pleasant but non-committal personality.
And as @jpny01 commented, for him not to be there for Valen's performance -- and then to tell him that the brief appearance that he *did* make was for someone else -- is simply thoughtless.
Someday, someone will let Earth play something other than a whiny high-school kid - I'd like to say I think he's…
I know what you mean about Earth. He is now getting typecast as the whiny kid and for his next project he should insist on a role like the one you suggest.
The bullying seemed to take things only up to a certain point and stop short of getting to the level of cruelty I've seen in other series, like in "Who Are You" (both the Kdrama and Thai versions). For example, instead of pouring water over Ozone's head they'd be dumping his lunch on him, or shoving his face into the bathing water. And when they stripped him down in the bathhouse they let him keep is boxers on instead of going for the full humiliation of nakedness. For me that's why locking him in a utility closet seemed especially lame. He wasn't even in the dark in there. So, I've seen much worse in other series.
As for Santa, he's just "wow". Eye candy from head to toe and clearly ready for stardom. I'm not one to replay kiss scenes but that's one I've watched a few times. I think you called it right: he's not afraid of intimacy. That full-body press is rare in BL, and avoidance of it is usually the tell-tale sign that one or both actors wishes he didn't have to do it. (Another tipoff is when two boys stand side-by-side with their arms around each other's shoulders while keeping their hips six inches apart.)
Earth's reaction as Ozone was also just right -- eyes at first wide with surprise, then closed as he takes advantage of the moment. That whole scene was very well done.
The abrupt shift to the graduation party was odd. I can't tell how much of a time jump that was in the context of the story, but if it was more than a week or two then it would be surprising that the two boys wouldn't have finally talked it out by then.
What can I say. It's brilliant. The acting, direction, cinematography -- rather typical for a good Kdrama, but it's nice to see our Thai favorites starring in such a classy production.
I figured something eerie would be involved since it started out a bit like "The Shining". (Tommy's character would fit right in with that movie.)
Peach is too fussy and borderline annoying. Only a person who's seen little strife in life could keep nagging a guy about reconciling with the mother he's been in a mutual hate relationship with since he was a toddler. When a compulsive do-gooder keeps pushing like that it starts to become more about them than the person they're trying to "help". Hey, Peach: Shut yer yap and try listening to what your friend is telling you.
Choi Jae Hyun -- talk about a star-making performance! The beginnings are there already. Based on "Run On" I knew he had a spark but this is a role he can sink his teeth into.
My guess about the direction this will go is that Peach will somehow help Yoon Oh to make peace with his mom (hopefully not by nagging him to a second death) as well as cope with the other sadnesses in his life, so that he can pass over to the other side in peace. He'll probably do the same for Tommy's character but I don't think that will feel as momentous -- maybe it will be played a little as a comedic element.
To enjoy this I suspect you'll need to set aside the hope for a typical BL romance that makes your heart flutter. If we can adjust our expectations I think we'll be blown away by this.
This is a 10/10 for me, and I doubt we've seen anything yet. I was in tears all the way through this. Just looking…
I agree with you 100%. Lots of complaints about the pacing and realism, but not from me. Sometimes I think people on here will never be satisfied, or feel a need to equivocate so that their opinion seems more sophisticated.
As for the title, I guess we should be glad they didn't go with "Eat Me" or "Taste Me". But puerile is the right word to describe it.
I just finished this drama and can I know whether there's any similar good romance youth story like our secret…
"My Huckleberry Friends" .... It's a reverse of "Our Secrets" because the FL is the smart one and the ML is the one who will do anything for her. And one of the best endings of any drama.
For those of you looking for your next K-bl, Peach in Time is set to air on the 30th of August! It's a crossover…
I'm excited for this one too. The actor who plays the Korean ML was a supporting character in the Kdrama "Run On", where I was so sure he would end up as a BL side story with another character -- a competitive runner who had a sweet personality and needed someone to love him.
I can't believe I'm going to see him in a BL after all!

You seem to be willing yourself to see what you want to see in pursuit of another HEA.
