I think most of us would advise you to watch the show on the legal sites because we support the whole cast and production and are all hoping for season 2. :)
On IQiYi you can at least watch the first episode legally for free. If I remember correctly, WeTV seems to have the best translation. The cheapest way to watch the series is probably on Viki (if it's available in your region), Netflix seems to only have it for certain regions. You can also watch it on Gagaoolala, where the first episode is also free.

Sometimes I'm glad that I'm not very involved in fandoms and can just enjoy series. The more I find out, the more I feel sorry for the actors. It also solidifies my personal opinion that it would be better if there were no ships, for the sake of the fans and actors. I can of course understand the pro arguments for ships from all sides. But as you say, Ohm has chemistry with everyone and what a refreshing thing it would be to find the right actors for the right stories. I just think of the mess Neo made in Only Friends. I hated and loved his character in equal measure. I really celebrated that. Sometimes I think ships spoil options. Even though of course I have pairings I like to see. And like you say, most of them are straight and then not "allowed" to have a real private life without being criticized (no matter what orientation they belong to). I understand that dreams are sold in the genre. But I have the feeling that the actors are on the losing side of it all...

This! Exactly my thought. I didn't catch a moment where he realized or even hinted at his love interest. For me, it's more that Neil sees him as a talented artist with whom he's building a friendship. I wish there was an episode that led from tonight's episode to the next. It feels like something is being skipped over.

It's like there's a missing part/episode where Neil starts to see him as more than a talented artist and friend or Neil subtle infatuation doesn't get through to me. I have to admit, I kind of like waiting for the new episodes. It feels like receiving two very special gifts every week. It makes me appreciate the series even more. 😅

The MdL ratings with certain very well-known and popular (ex-)ships are really crazy. Both in one direction and in the other. With these series, everyone really has to form their own opinion.
I think that was a solid start so far. I've always been a bit worried lately with GMMTV that the story will fall apart at some point. But looking at the scriptwriters, I'm hoping for a well-rounded story here. I'm really curios about the next episode, as I thought the pacing picked up quite a bit in the preview. I see it similarly. I have the feeling that they tried to repair the previous dynamic with this episode. Also because Judy and Bah-mee, for example, seemed to me as if nothing had ever happened and it had always been the mentor-intern relationship.
I liked the episode and it somehow fitted in better with the start for me. As you say, whoever gives this drama a 1 should be able to justify it. This just gives me the impression that people don't want this drama to succeed, come hell or high water.
6 hours ago the drama had an Imdb rating of 9.1... Some people probably didn't think it was that great and rated it 1/10... 😐 The current rating is 8.7 as a result.
It is top notch. 2 boys whose parents are dating become classmates and flatmates and get to know each other better through this situation. Both have different baggage to carry, which is why one is a little defiant and the other aloof. Layer by layer, they open up to each other...
Good production and storytelling, a great OST and the icing on the cake: two terrific actors. You just have to be prepared for the high school setting to really be a high school setting. Some people find it a bit annoying that there is a lot of school context. Some people find the pacing too slow at first. The relationship develops slowly but steadily. I can only recommend it. I think everyone will be hooked by episode 5 at the latest.

I don't know why you judge me like that. For me, it's films and series that I consume. I don't ship anyone, I'm not interested in the private lives of the actors (I'm happy if they have a happy private life) and I don't need any marketing of ships. I would even be in favour of not having a fixed couple and casting the roles of each story with the right actors to make the best series out of it. So I don't know why you deny my rationality without knowing me.
By the way, I'm someone who is always in favour of not confusing reality and fiction and that something should change in fandom so that actors don't become objects and are fetishised, but are seen for what they are: People whose profession is acting and anything beyond that is none of our business.
I'd rather set a good example than say that's how it will always be. And perhaps it is precisely this drama that makes it easier to differentiate. (By the way, this drama doesn't even have an age rating.So I don't know what kind of scenes you're expecting.) If it's not okay for you, then so be it. I'm not trying to convince you.
