I also read earlier that they could hardly do any promotion because they had no budget for it and look where it is. Even on MdL you can find it listed 7th in the most popular ongoing dramas. I'm quite optimistic about that :)

H4 was really the worst... After that I decided to drop series earlier.

I can't imagine them changing the story in such a way that the parents suddenly support them. In my opinion, the director also brought up the subject of homophobia again at the live yesterday.
I'm really curious to see how they will implement it, but I trust the director.

I read in a recent commentary that the marriage proposal is supposed to come in the next episode. I don't know if that was someone who saw the leaked episode. I'll wait until it comes out regularly.

I think the director will give us a satisfactory ending. I have faith in that. I've also heard that they'll have to go their separate ways for a while and that there will be a time skip. But that's the story and we all have to go through it together. 🙈

But if I don't even know the person beforehand, they're not part of my family to begin with. He's just a classmate and flatmate and the son of my parent's boyfriend/girlfriend. If everything goes well, you become friends. You only become stepbrothers when your parents get married. Which won't happen. (As far as I know)
And at the end of the day, that's one of the themes of the series, whether you develop into such a family or whether the constellation becomes completely different.

Personally, I'm not really a fan of the "stepbrothers" theme and am initially critical of it. H4 traumatised me a bit, for example. But it only touches on the subject here. Because the parents want to get married. For example, they didn't grow up together and only get to know each other when they're about 17.

That's why you could wait until the series has finished airing. Then you can see if you want to watch it, but try not to pre-judge it :)

I mean, if they manage 30 chapters in 6 episodes, they would be at 60 chapters at the end of S1, leaving 56 chapters left for S2. Which just fuels my thought that S2 has already been filmed along and it also makes the statement that S2 is coming very soon make even more sense. Arguments to start with: complex story, great quality of execution, great OST and the most important thing: super good, talented and experienced actors. Plus you get 2 episodes per week of about 60 minutes each, which remain great even after watching them several times and, in my opinion, a pretty nice exchange in the comments section with some wonderful people who can put the feelings and situations conveyed into amazing words. What you should be prepared for: You'll experience high school life with all the trimmings and the plot builds slowly and steadily. Some people find this boring, others need a few episodes to enjoy it.
I think you'll be hooked by episode 5 at the latest.

Unfortunately I don't understand Mandarin. He had said it in English at the beginning and it sounded like a confirmation. Everyone in the chat was happy too. But he later said that we should tell the company (?) if we want S2 ... I found that confusing.
