In wuxia bordering to xuanhuan, if you had not watched it and are not among those faint hearted, try A Journey To Love in case you missed it? It was awesome! There's Eternal Brotherhood too, but we only got first part last month, I hope what I read will come true, that part 2, delayed bc of the "regulations" will air before end of June. Very intricate story, despite a relatively annoying over emphasis on FL to cater for the "love and kisses" addicts who really should not be given an inch in that dark war story of struggles between countries and factions.
One more week and this drama is going to end, I need another Xianxia asap to avoid drama hangover 😅

Not xianxia, but Republican era, usually not that much loved genre, but that drama still got to #2 behind #1 Legend of Shen Li in popularity last week, and I am among those who follow that gripping story ! Xianxia + Republican era are my best balancing acts, for c-drama romanticism , at the moment lol
Lady Jin is a pretty snake. (Jin means "gold/golden") I always liked the Snake stories of China. The White and Green ones etc. And the "cousin" of Runyu, the Snake zodiac in Ashes of Love ; so mischievous and lovable lol This magic "demon" golden snake here is both tempting and nice !

Continuing my Notes tinkering, I have added an alphabetical list, keying in to the numbers that they are referring to in Characters lists of the Legend of Shen Li. Characters lists are in two parts, keyed in appearance order for each (10 Main, or +50+ Secondary), with illustrated descriptions and short actor/actresses bio notes (following Baidu + dramawiki + MDL lists, linked for more details). Up to date till ep.30 inclusive. A handful or more characters remain to appear: they will be included as the episodes are released.
In the General info, I added some more music links recently (including the leaf music song).
Plus, today, a Tourism paragraph about the Jinyun Xiandu scenic area where the Mortal Realm courtyard scenes were filmed : it has received a huge surge of visitors according to its Weibo page, and I have put in some illustrations (gif and picture) plus a link to how to get there and what to see, in addition to Shen Li places (it was also filming location for other dramas). In case you are in the vicinity and would like to plan a weekend there, or if you want to travel to China to experience it all, modern and fairyland. (Depending on your passport, you may be able to do so visa free for 15 days (30 days for Thai citizens), at least until end of November- perhaps after, if the PRC extends that policy for longer).

When Xing Zhi chose #33 in the list, he did not check how it was written and assumed, from Tian Jun pronouncing it, that it was a girl's name. Hence his "honest mistake" in pairing a "lord" (presumably male) with a soft "flower" !
