Who is "You Jun" (the boy who hums a tune in front of Xiu Yan and A Yin in the very beginning of TLI before she jumps into the maelstrom sucking her for "reprocessing" in Mortal World, from the "bridge" of I think Ghost /Nether world ) ?

Agree : I was not enthralled by the Fairy either, and I remembered Hedi too much from his Daoming Si, which he keeps something from in every role I saw him in (lately with Bai Lu). But LBFAD story was different from other xianxias I had seen, so I generally liked it. As for TSL which I came to with no prior reading, influencing or spoiler watching, I ended up quite impressed by it, amused by the initial use of the "wrong carriage right groom" device (watched the remake of the latter with amusement, since it featured Ao Ruipeng, who had been one of the memorable "classmates" of ZLS's "Sang Qi" back when. That Sang name also made me smile when she tackled "Sang Zhi"...)
TTEOTM and TLI are different for me also because I like both Bai Lu, Luo Yunxi (leaning to 罗狮粉 since Runyu : have watched a lot from his 13 year career, going back to earlier than AoL, and like his singing and vlogs too) And Rosy ....count me in as an avowed long time friend of the 可露丽 . Watching those dramas came with anticipation and some trepidation - I came with a very positive bias and know it, but always some fear that it might not totally carry me away. TTEOTM was of course excellent. I am not totally through with TLI, so I'll wait until end to reflect on it, but already thinking of rating it generously.

Yes. AoL and TMoPB were something! I have not been able to feel the same with other ones later, except .....almost.... with LBFAD, The Starry Love and TTEOTM.

Sure could (must) be for interiors. Even the exterior of house could be a studio construct like the Sang family house in Hidden Love. But i suppose the studio needs to stand somewhere and some exterior scenes were in a real place? and Studio China is a vast place, so which one? I doubt it is Hengdian. Usually there are "signature clues" with cityscape shots.

Noticed him first as Yang Kang in Legend of the Condor Heroes 2017 (Yang Kang was the antagonist Jin prince's adoptive son, rival of Guo Jing ), and later happened to watch more in Good Bye My Princess 2019, Fall in Love 2021, The Starry Love 2023 where he was the Empyrean "world savior" in love with the demon realm destined princess who got on the wrong carriage. Do you like to watch always same things. Condor Heroes are classic of course. Lots of dead heroes too in those novels. Anyway, i love those stories too, it is not contradictory. But I was not watching Condor Heroes for the romance first, either. It was just icing on the cake for me. I do like to watch fluff too. No pb. As long as stories are not following same stereotypes (or then. I may look more closely at something like ads festival, outrageous obsessive characters, loved LYX better than boring Xu Feng hah! Or note variations on known tropes: fun! Or explore the delights of OST).
