With all the gushing that is happening here about how sexy LLY is, 😜 I am almost afraid to comment, that he…
LLTG and Nothing But You were not exactly lacking in sexual tension, btw, but perhaps you thought slamming Shaoshang on her bed during the impromptu self defense turned sort of tango lesson was not enough ? Ling Buyi and SS were betrothed at the time and he was allowed to stay in her room alone at night, wedding ceremony at the corner, so what they did that night was left to anyone's imagination : surely not knitting scarves. Nothing But You was even more explicit, all considered (of course, not going as far graphically as the protagonists in The Forbidden Flower.... But that was not played by young Wu Lei, but by seasoned Jerry Yan.)
Yes, it's a joy to see Wu Lei "growing up" !

The tram thing was explained : she did not know the language. This was not an English speaking country where her notions of foreign language would help her, and the tram was not fully easy to use in unfamiliar environment, alone. There might be pickpockets, vagrants -one was glimpsed in a station-, unruly crowds such as at the other sports competition when LYY got wounded by a steel door slamming into his leg. So, he first wanted to make sure she was safe, when he was available.

how long have the ml and fl know each other? feels like only weeks but assuming it's actually been 1-3 months
The timeline is a bit blurry, because in episode 11 when she spent the weekend with him after discovering he was ill, he said they had only become acquainted for a week or so, and her "brother" from China having arrived with the other team, she had already moved to stay with them and train with them. So, she had not had enough time to get totally familiar with and about LYY who was not staying as roommates permanently but was traveling back and forth to his university town, before he showed her around to see that other town and his billiards room in ep.11.
But that's when she said she was going to leave soon, after the competition, less than a week later. Perhaps time had flown quickly between their partly "long distance" encounters over the past 9 or 10 weeks, or the adaptation has a different timeline : she was supposed to stay three months but the team came earlier, and instead of staying in his shared pied-à-terre where he slept on the couch in his friend's room, she moved to stay in the hotel with a female teammate, leaving only residual time to see him, and was required to leave earlier( with her team) than the full 3 months announced after the competition ended?

Currently at the beginning of EP13, and while there have been so many good scenes of them together, that scene…
I paused too on that sequence. I was thinking .... is this a subtle reminder of Lighter and Princess? He said the lighter did not belong to him. Mysterious.
But L&P is a different, more violent story. I liked it very much, though.
Amidst a Snowstorm is more restrained, yet also so romantic, and I think the shyness of courtship is very well depicted: despite they are pressed for time together and should nor waste it, they do not want to rush it either, so ep.14, YG teases LYY about what "they did", but we are still unsure they did more than kissing, hugging, and caressing.

wahahah…C-drama world like to only showcase good looking and extremely smart people. lol!
I do ;)
but also hot guys in freezing weather like idol LeiLei and his smoldering gazes when he sets his eyes on the girl hahaha! Reminded me on the way he looked at the hand emerging from the carriage in first episode of LLTG!
Looking forward to unlock next episodes after that first one!

I don't know about this title, but had started watching on and off Small Town Stories on iQiyi. Cast is not hideous.

Ok, happy watching to you despite the toil of looking up explanations. ;-)

The drama hasn’t even started and we’re getting nonsense comments already. 🤦‍♀️
oh that's distressing... I have not scrolled much down yet.
Comments further up, from when I started looking, are just ordinary, fortunately.

Amidst a snowstorm of love?? what in the harlequin novel title is this? lol can’t wait to watch lol
Me too. Harlequin titles were always fun to look at !
Not sure I'd have noticed "During The Snowstorm" without a mention of LeiLei and Jingmai to have me check it. Anyway the "love" mention is a staple ingredient in Chinese drama titles, so just looking at with a grain of salt. It may be anything!

That's why we like them. Would we get interested in sorry hunchback one-eyed drooling obnoxious losers who only have despair and relentless toxicity to bring to table (or screen) ? .... hmm, who knows, might appeal too?
... rush to your keyboards, scriptwriters of the future!

Well it looks like my explanations were clear to those who still had questions. btw, I noticed other Q&A also had similar answers to my own: answerers had watched closely and "done their homework" too.
I do not resent real questions : it is normal that people who are not familiar with xianxia or the game are unfamiliar about some details or logic.

I just wonder about the tone of your last reply:. Were you unhappy that you got a different view to your initial criticism of the end, and that some other commenters used the opportunity to ask questions ?
...did you want to attack me for answering ??? so rude!

Anyway, I am sorry for you that you apparently did not like S&F4 very much, and would not presume to try to persuade you to watch more like that if you prefer contemporary South Korean dramas, police stories, and horror : that's different indeed. Not my cup of tea, so wouldn't enter a debate about any of those. Chinese ghost stories, yeah, that's my stuff too. Closer to your choices, I'd recommend Oh! No! Here Comes Trouble! then.
We may meet again In A Snowstorm of Love, although I don't expect I will be commenting and explaining much. I will just enjoy LeiLei's new role after the ones I already saw him in and his interesting introduction to Xiamen as Marvelous City in a documentary video, a few years back.

Try skipping lines after paragraphs so the whole thing does not look like a concrete wall...
Even for proofreading yourself, you'll find it is easier to look at .
Most readers will just be deterred otherwise, despite the welcome use of emoji punctuation to break it up a bit.

Oh, and you can do it in editing message.

Started well. Overreached. Ended up disappointing. Some flaws were simply too glaring, worse than the usual tropes. The epigraphs over-repetitiousness, their reading by barely competent reader with accent and pronunciation flaws, the allergy trope totally disregarded in final wedding...
That was one badly done interpretation of subject and story. CXX was okay, grandma and Cheng Yao /Tong Xin were acceptable. Boy and dog were decorations. Victoria Song looked like she was doing runway modeling duty almost from end to end. I regretted that she did not pepper it up more, like she did "Roof on fire" with Dylan Wang Hedi...

Xizhong, Guixie and Mengli had opened a portal to Huanming, realm of Fantasy, and that's where they saw the Qionghua platform falling like a huge meteor that, if not shot to pieces, would create a gigantic impact, kill everyone under and near, and create a new sea, that's what the Goddess had forecast. But Tianhe was intent on changing the fate of himself and the people he protected, so he used the power of the twin heavenly bows (notably the famed Hou Yi's who had shot down suns with it), to destroy the old Qionghua so it only rained down as pieces of hailstones.
You can find further information in the companion piece with illustrated characters and cast gallery, and lots more (a few songs linked too, including Mengli's theme song, from the game.

I don't wanna live this dramaaaWhat will I do now??Need another drama of CZY asap
Next one will be Dark Night and Dawn, a Republican era/revolutionary times drama. With spectacular explosions, from what I saw. He looks good too, there. But since it wrapped filming in August 2023, it will have to stay in the queue for a slot to air, maybe in the autumn, depending on when it gets the go ahead. Perhaps even earlier.
Some illustrated infos about all that can be found in the Chen Zheyuan Profile that I started last year.

Meanwhile, I'll be off to watch Wu Lei in Amidst A Snowstorm of Love.
