If they want to cut all the intimate scenes then what is the point of watching it🙄😮💨
Not ALL: not that bad - some cuts and replacement are in fact added fun for me, such as the cat unconcernedly strolling by the couple busy kissing in episode13 "the cat is in love", from the very beginning... + the cut scenes are not destroyed and can be hunted up like in a game , so you can enjoy them as bonus candy!
First is actually not deleted? It featured in the episode 15 I saw on WeTV VIP. 09:55 in the episode. Including the probing dialogue. Second seems to be extended version of the end scene in episode 15. Third is around 13:40 in Episode 13, where some interaction is replaced by the orange cat unconcernedly strolling by the couple. Anyway, thanks for collecting this.
Y’all that little girl married He Ren off without her knowing it. I’m absolutely tickled. And that “let me…
Yes He Ran was a total innocent and pure child there, accepting jade heirlooms as mere trinkets, and nibbling like a snacking hamster with those teeth, on the peanuts, dates and other food symbolizing fertility in marriage (a rather common symbol throughout China, except perhaps some northern minorities-so it is strange that she did not understand that, perhaps she was just gleefully 'playing dumb"?) , and next going Huhh???? when the mention of her having babies swiftly came up.

My answer: watch another drama simultaneously, or a Jerry Yan movie or drama, or Dating in the Kitchen (same screenwriter + older man/young woman too, but not very sensual, although the recipes are mouth-watering). Or do something else: yoga, fishing, fly a kite to please the kids, head over to play basketball to keep in shape as per the secret recipe of JY...
wait really theres quote like that? I'm not vip members on WeTV lol
If you are not WeTV VIP, or watching on YT, despite the muting of songs there, you are having a lag since the WeTV and copycat sites ("cool" or "nice" or kiss" are all at episode 14, now) As for spotting the quote, I have watched the 5 versions of the Hana Yori Dango manga adaptation to drama, and it is one of the famous quotes. For other iconic ones, have fun listening to his clip from the 2013 reunion of the F4 gang : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uv2saLCRkHg
If you are not familiar with Meteor Garden, you could head to dramacool to watch the original TW adaptation (unfortunately in low quality), starring Jerry Yan as Daoming Si. . Each version has its merits: * the Japanese one (available in good quality on Viki) is admittedly the closest to the original Makino Tsukushi /Dōmyōji Tsukasa/Hanazawa Rui love triangle characters. * Both the TW and the PRC Chinese adaptations translated them to Daoming Si/Shancai/Hua Ze Lei, adding more substance to the Xi Men and Mei Zou other members of the group. The PRC Meteor Garden 2018 featured Dylan Wang Hedi in his breakthrough role as the explosive Daoming Si, with Shen Yue as leading lady. It is the longest adaptation (I see you completed watching it, so you could have spotted the quote too?), * The South Korean version (available in good quality on Viki) has them as Gu Jun-pyo/Geum Jan-di /Yoon Ji-hu and * the Thailand one, shortest but most modern one, has them as Thyme/Gorya /Ren +Kavin and M.J. For more info, there is an article on MDL, among the many that can be found online.
ep14 11:29 The mother of He Ran, Mrs Chou (played by Huang Yi) is watching Dining In The Kitchen on her iPad! Fun fact: the screenwriter Zhao Xiaolei was also screenwriter for that 2020 drama, which starred Zhao Lusi and Lin YuShen.

Episode 14 08:53 a quote from Meteor Garden/BOF !!! ("If apologies are enough, why do we have the police") 😂😁 but, yes, I am also finding the beginning of this mother's arc not the most engaging here. Especially contrasting it with the steamy windowsill scene just before, that Jerry Yan mentioned in this interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBwoQsGoJEQ
I love the songs in this drama so much. It has perfect soundtrack. I binged watch 13 episode and never once skipped…
Tick tock - like on the cloud Tick tock- we're running out of time Tick tock - please stay with me Tick tock - don't be away from me Tick Tock - you're all l need I need you here (....Right now...)
The real mystery that puzzle me all along is in latest episodes, it's he ran's outfit, she leaves home without…
And, in episode 12, she traveled to highland Qiang area north of Kangding without bringing warm clothes. Showing her lack of knowledge about basic traveling concerns, probably caused by her over-protection in semi-tropical environment. Up in the Qiang district, phones did not work well in the village, and presumably, there was no high speed fiber connection for computers and availability of fast delivery. So she had to be thankful to get Xiao Han's coat, winter jacket, and outfits borrowed from the local Qiang family, which endeared her to them....
So strange. He is dressed like a lumberjack while everyone else is in Qiang ethnic dress.
Not strange, he is not cosplaying for the tourist crowd and the character being part Han lives up to his main ethnicity. Perhaps he would dress as Qiang for a formal wedding if He Ran decided to embrace the minority customs that she only toyed with, not having been informed and studying them beforehand. Although she did have Xiao Han's "hometown address" on the edge of Tibetan plateau before. Dressing as locals do would not be felt as "cultural appropriation", a recent Western concept that is not embraced by Chinese people in the PRC, where dress-code only applies in certain circumstances.
Digression about the singer I mentioned above: A-Lan is the stage name of alan dawa dolma, a Qiang-Tibetan ethnic singer and entertainer who promotes Tibetan culture as a participant in local Tibetan TV channels. She was educated in the music academy of Chengdu, before graduating from the University of Minorities in Beijing, once performing the song Heaven's Road together with famous Tibetan-Han singer Han Hong. (ref. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwst9gQ9Xgw). Next, she was under contract to sing in Japan for a few years (and learned quite some Japanese and Japanese songs) and to sing on the OST of the Red Cliff movie, before returning to China. The Chinese version of this song is one of my favorite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uc7Mr2oseP8 🥰-- it's long to wait till next episodes of Xia Hua, so I am listening to some favorite song playlists... Sharing with whoever might be interested 😎

She did bring a tote bag in which was her letter of admission to university. We may suppose that she had a comfortable bank account, usable through Wechat or other payment apps on her phone, enabling her to pay fares, snacks, or mail-order with next-day urgent delivery service , to get the needed outfits. But.... she seemed to have left her phone idle for days before she switched it on again, to find the long list of text messages that her mother had left. Still, she did have access to a computer (she checked the amazing "double barreled" love life of flatworms there -have fun with that if you're curious like a cat, like her!). So, online shopping transactions were probably done this way. As for the outfits, her mother threw them in the trash when He Ran did not wear them, so she did not need to carry more home than what covered her body? She did carry the tote bag with the important letter, when she returned home, didn't she?
I think i found the ost but says it's not available in your region 💀 The One is definitely my favorite!https://i.y.qq.com/n2/m/share/details/album.html?albummid=000y6QTe1JqmAu&_qmp=0
The QQ link has MVs but it was tricky to watch them for me too, as my spaceship was not postioned "in" the right region... Fwiw, here's what was listed (I have just added the names the singers go by in "English")

Jerry Yan was born in 1977, so he is 46, but like many health conscious, athletic types, even rockers like Chris…
yes, JY's got impressive abs too 😁 I was secretly musing about what Dai Gaozheng could do in comparison -you know, the yummy hunk from Maid's Revenge. But the role of Xiao Han clearly required a more experienced actor for sensual subtlety.
That young miss whose hormones warn that she can't wait (may die too early) is quite justified in her choice of an experienced and considerate semi-secret lover, instead of a fumbling greenhorn wannabee rocker, even if the latter is presented as more socially compatible (=agreeable to her mom). The story is interesting & music, cinematography, acting are top-notch.

Okay... My feeling from acting and drama pictures of Xiao Han was also that he was likely to be in his "late 30s". I also object to guys (F or M) being branded "middle aged" when over 30 and below 50. If people take care of themselves, their expected life span is over 85 in modern societies.

The "Tibetan village" in this episode 12 s is also shown in one/some of A-Lan's songs like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyrlvXQfe4w
It is nicknamed Beauty Valley and it is located north-west of Kangding (you may know the famous Kangding love song? If not, here's a recording: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTqfXtqgRCI + a clip about its composition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3f1ASIMIZo)
