That's the famous "Mohe ballroom" song. It's got quite a story and refers to the 1987 fire in Mohe, a small city in the northernmost part of China.

On May 6, 1987, the fire spread in the forest area at the northern foot of the Greater Khingan Mountains and burned 1.01 million hectares of forest.fire in Mohe, a small city in the northernmost part of China. The 28-day non-stop fire engulfed 211 lives and displaced more than 50,000 people. Among them, Xilinji, Tuqiang, and Amuer Forestry Bureaus in Mohe County were burned down.
This is the forest fire with the largest number of casualties and the largest area of ββdeforestation since 1949.
γγ[In.2021], the musician Liu Shuang composed the song "Mohe Dance Hall", telling a sad love story in the fire: an old man named Zhang Dequan (a pseudonym), his wife was killed in the fire in 1987, and he has not remarried for 34 years. In the past, they used to dance in the old warehouse. After the wife left, the old man came to the Mohe Ballroom to dance solo in memory of his wife."
