Now if some star "Kids" can add why, who, when, where the fandom name was coined (or confirm my sleuthing) I assume Kids is the English name so is it 孩子们 or 小猴子 in Chinese ? and what was LGX's parents names (Ok we now know what his dad did, was mom a homemaker?).
Life can be a drama, lol. Dr. Lin Gengxin's is already the stuff of c-dramas to a T. Liu Yifei's also, of course, but I will let another profile her , or wait until next time to perhaps tackle the time consuming digging and exploring the jungle of the 亦家人. I had thought of exploring 唯一 fandom, since it was Lin Yi's third appearance this year, but it will have to wait until next time ; Lin Yi's Angels Fall Sometimes with Li Landi was very good, despite the expected sad end; I liked the other romance less.
So happy Li Qin gets on this project. I like her a lot as well. Agree that ad was a little ... pale. He's had much better appearances since then, although some people, after scolding him for looking fat in Shen Li, now comment that he looks too thin !! He's quite fit, and his ad for Estee Lauder in June was good. Also, he is again in Madame Figaro Men photo section, for the July issue. And well, he is only a few months older than Luo Yunxi - not really old. He's still got time before he'll have to play dads or granddads to the young'uns. 🤣 If he thinks he can date one of those off screen, it's his own business anyway. I have even bigger age gap matches in my family, and they turned out very happy and longest enduring (till death parted them) so I don't see reason to frown about it. Good luck to him and her, together or not.
I think its the story of rose.. He plays one of the male leads. He marries the character I think he plays a successful…
Not "some" episodes ; he had the most screen time apart from "brother" of the titular Rose. I counted 18+ episodes in which he was in for various length, out of the 38. -- If you watched it, hope you liked it. It was not an easy role : he was portraying a man between 24 and 40+ with big changes in psychology along that "marriage" and "divorce" line. In the end, the two characters are still acquainted, in a much less tight, but friendly way. He did not have many kiss scenes with Liu Yifei, in fact.
And yes, impressive acting in The Tale of Rose. Not an easy role. He's once again earned respect from his peers.…
I don't know. From the recent news, it looks like he's had to deal with anti-fans who went targeting him in the wake of his "scumbag" portrayal of Fang Xiewen. Some can't make the difference between real and act, and his rumors with his many female friends have also added fuel to fire, especially since he's been photographed accompanying a much younger actress a few times since October 2023 or so. Living the life of a celeb is not that easy, although he doesn't care much and still goes freely doing what he wants such as running, when he was pictured stopping kindly to grant an autograph to an admirer who had spotted him in his sweat drenched T shirt, in Hong Kong, end of last month lol
