Jelly Belly pyramids and naked punches

This episode was all about the unsuccessful attempts by Jiang Ying and Sang Yan to break up the new couple. Jiaxu was ready to endure battles and beatings for his girl, and she was ready to give him all her earnings ... to make down payment for their future home. Jiaxu sent her Jelly Belly pyramids with a packed lunch to cheer her up from what he sensed had worried her, although she had not told him what. Sang Yan arrived unexpectedly and had more than disapproval when he discovered who his sister's bf was. He tried to shame Jiaxu for having known SZ as a kid and being « 25-26 », so much older than he was, but JX gently corrected that he was only 5 years older than SZ and prepared to treat her well for the rest of his life. Jiaxu’s calm and acceptance of his friend’s reaction, SZ standing up for JX, and their obvious warm and happy connection over the shrimps later, finally made Big Brother "da ge" Sang Yan relent. Heat rising, despite the air conditioning ! While the two found themselves on the same wavelength, speaking same words in unison, they were still nervous about their inexperience in starting their first serious relationship. Jiaxu, glowing from his joy of knowing what she had said to her brother, was torn between acting on his impulses to crowd and touch her, to unwrap her as a candy, or wrap her in his care.. Sang Zhi admitted that she did not dislike him ; Jiaxu translated it for her. When he again proved his respect for her, through an apology and his asking for a permission, she could not resist, and they both voiced their mutual feelings. A different sort of heat rose when Jiaxu was put on the spot in a three party phone conference with inquisitive questions. Puzzle : Did you fit in the snippet of the two acting cutely jealous when passing strangers asked for their Wechat contact ? Clue : Jiaxu was holding a big fruit to his chest when Sang Zhi repeated she was not flirting since she already had a bf, and he next said « Let’s go ». (Where were they going and when ? Interning in a design company did not go exactly as SZ expected. Sang Yan was angry about his sister disobeying him and staying alone in the dorm in Yihe. SZ was troubled that she could not manage to set things straight with him, even though both her parents had agreed to her summer plan. A stress relief toy was useful, and eye-drops too : both Jiaxu and Sang Zhi were glossing over their troubles, while they went hungry and sleepless. Jiaxu was touched when he was sent a paper bag by SZ.. But next morning, Monday July 2, despite starting sweetly, saw worries and threats pile up, until the evening where SZ’s superior Xiaoyu arranged for an undesirable meeting.Puzzle : Jiaxu was talking with his team at a table. First snow, wishes and old promises

This episode is about expectations, as the calendar New Year was at the doors. Zhi was expecting a quiet night out for dinner with Jiaxu, when everybody was going to noisy places. But the obnoxious Jiang Ying disrupted the harmony,, demanding from Jiaxu to honor impossible promises. Zhi showed her protective virtue in actions, but her latest one fell foul to an unexpected misunderstanding, caused by Jiaxu's own protective attitude. Imperfect communication proved that keeping thoughts silent was not the best way to make wishes on the first snow come true... Snippet puzzle before end credits : Jiaxu was examining the gift and installing it on the door. This puzzle part is easy to place. What is best, in a case-by-case approach of trouble in ypur opinion ? Recording and watching to guard well-barred doors, or talking things through to stay within reasonable expectations and leave a door open so as not to shut out someone by mistake ? Duan Jiaxu is an experienced tutor, as he proves to Sang Zhi when he lets her read his resume. He also has ideas about how to spark an interest for the subject in a bored but intelligent student : fun facts, that's what such kids like ! Sang Zhi felt daring but also somewhat worried that Brother n°1 and/or n°2 might guess her inner thoughts from a mislaid item or from her behavior, when she danced away from her secret picture taking, airily shouting an ambiguous "brother is handsome" at the two students who were playing video games. Did you check out the picture she had drawn in her notebook when she should have been reviewing her lesson? that snippet fit in before the pedagogical outing.Mischievous "Little Demon" Sang Zhi is sweet and innocent while the young men are clueless that she harbors a growing crush in her impish head. How to deal with unwelcome reminders of the past.

Qiao Lin got injured at work and reconnected with her old flame, become a tall and handsome doctor who urged her to summon Xu Yan for help. Xu Yan did come and promptly had her sister move next to Yu Yiming the doctor (played by "Daddi" Tang Xiaotian, an old acquaintance of Zhao Lusi since "The Story of Pearl Girl" in which he played as SML alongside Rosy and Liu Yuning) . Tao Li, Qiao Lin's former fiancé, showed up to sow discord. Haoming who had been informed, used his connections without telling his wife. The troublesome ex harassing Xu Yan and her "cousin" got called back to his hometown and made to look as if he hid connections, as a mirror form of the payoff deal Xu Yan sent Tao Li's parents, to shut them up and keep him away. Xu Yan and Haoming chose to focus on their married bliss, rejoicing in food and in sweet details related to Haoming's childhood. Sharing and adding to a secret might perhaps cement their harmony, despite Haoming was reluctant to share with her about more serious work matters.Xu Yan set out to investigate and was once again faced with a sour-sweet memory. Could a homemade dish help an old lady beset by memory loss, and help Haoming as a consequence ?

The relationship was still in the courting stage, but Sang Zhi was increasingly impressed by Jiaxu, who showed unknown to her skills that far outranked those of the college students on the sports field. She had retaliated with a peck to the cheeky trick he had performed during the lecture, but was still unsure about admitting the extent of her care to him. He did not want to hurry her, just to agree to "help him get married before his 27th birthday". She did not say no. His birthday was a very romantic experience.A few days later, he was carrying a bag of groceries and a watermelon when they got to a cooler place in the hot day, to let her do her studies in view of exam more comfortably... Months skip by quickly

On the eve of Chinese New Year, Sang Zhi was still being tutored, but she was going to see him less in the next few months. Jiaxu moved to Yihe, from which he was encouraging her studies with rewards of toys for good grades. She prepared a thoughtful gift for him for his graduation ceremony, when he would be back for it in June. The four student friends had pictures taken, and one was with her. But she was too shy to hand over her gift in front of everybody. When could she slip it to him before he flew back? Did you check out the snippet in the end and find out his reaction to the other gift Sang Zhi had slipped to him, and did you see where that snippet fit in the timeline of the episode?In this episode, we can see the care they consciously or not have for each other. Jiaxi is too troubled by his complicated family matter and the annoying text harassment from the mysterious Jiang Ying to notice that his student has grown from childish 14 year old (looking 4 years shorter and younger) to sweet 16. He just seems surprised that she looks so much taller now.
