Haha, I was wondering what you thought about this film and here you are! Love this one as it is my kind of films…
SOTUS was, unfortunately, one of the first BLs I watched a couple of years back when I didn't know any better, but even then that weird mannequin-kissing gave me the creeps and I thought wth is up with that? I put together favorite gay movies and favorite BL series lists just recently if you want to check them out at my profile. Let me know what you think.

Love your views on this film. I believe a film or series could only be called classic or masterpiece if there…
omg...I know. Bad Buddy is a nightmare piece of crap but the comment section is insane with drooling worship of its every facet. I have stirred things up over there a few times with my honest take on that awful POS. Last time I looked there were about 16,500 comments! Can't stand the MC in TMS but really enjoy the two side-couples. Unfortunately that means I watch it quickly with my finger on the FF button. :) I could not care less about that MC.

Glad you enjoyed my thoughts on His: WIL? It remains one of my favorites. I know it was initially made as a series but I think of it as a movie.

Acting was good, story could have been good...I don't know, I was just kind of bored after a while. Somehow the stakes didn't seem that high. The only reason he was treated like shit is because he kept escaping. I'm not excusing his escapes, but he seemed to welcome them in a way. Weird he apparently never made an attempt to connect with his wife and daughter. Yeah, just didn't care much.

This movie didn't really sicken or offend me at all, because its representation of these events is entirely unconvincing and there are a ton of unexplained plot holes.
Why didn't the parents in the house call the cops at any one of a thousand opportunities, from inside or outside the home? If there's a reason, show it to me.
TWICE, the girl is shown escaping but she just kind of walks down the street calmly and stops for a drink of water, lah lah lah...any sane person would have been running as fast as they could to get some distance between herself and the house. Again, show me why she didn't do that.
Why didn't the girl's parents call the cops/report her missing? One weird phone call from your daughter over a period of days and you're OK with that as an explanation for her absence?
WHY did these guys do this at all? What was the motivation? I saw none at all, really, other than that their actions were in the script. Show me why.
Where was the yakuza for whom they supposedly worked and made money? He wouldn't be OK with them just falling off the radar.
There are a hundred other plot holes, but I don't have time...
BAD ACTING and direction. The young actor playing the lead character made being a gang boss look boring. His primary means of conveying his bad-assery was chomping his gum with his mouth open in the stereotypical way that gang members do in all badly-directed gang movies.
The young actress as the victim made being tortured and held against your will look boring too. I understand checking out mentally/emotionally when traumatic things are happening but your body and your face would still register pain and you would react. Metal poles and artificial flowers were being shoved in her vagina and her face showed no pain at all, just boredom.
I stopped watching because this made a horrific crime look BORING and yes, the makeup was amateur to terrible.
Really bad movie. Highly non-recommended, even for gore fans.

Not quite as hideous as I expected from what I've read about it, but if you don't watch this you aren't missing anything important. However, I did not know about the Japanese medical and biological warfare experiments like this. For that reason alone I'm glad I watched.

Of all things ghastly in this film, the cat thing was the worst because it appeared to be entirely real, while we know people onscreen didn't die in the making of the film. I don't really get what the purpose of that god-awful scene was, nor the amount of time it dragged on. I found the most striking image in this entire gore-fest to the rats near the end. You'll know what I mean if you see it.

This is one of those "I'm sort of glad I saw it but if I hadn't seen it I wouldn't mind that either. How the hell do you rate something like this?

Seems like Asian film companies and TV content-providers do a LOT of remakes.

Title Why R U?
Wow. You're nuts. lol I dropped this boring and politically-correct thing after a couple eps and only later watched…
So what? Bibles are printed containing those terrible stories which are going to make everyone go out and rape people and you need to stop their publication. Your own religious beliefs have nothing to do with it.

I'll take your non-answers to my questions above as an indication that you don't have a response because you can't support your censorious position. That's all I wanted to know. Thanks.

Title Why R U?
Wow. You're nuts. lol I dropped this boring and politically-correct thing after a couple eps and only later watched…
You DO understand that this is FICTION, right? It didn't really happen, you get that, right? IT was a SHOW. I'm gay too and I hate how people like you can't separate life from fiction. My god, there thousands of movies, books, plays, you name it, in which their is sexually aggressive behavior of all kinds...many of them classics. If Type had really wanted to stop Tharn, he could have but it felt too damn good. If Tharn had backed off...there would be NO story, do you get that? There would just be people sitting around being nice to each other. Type labeled himself as straight but it was a lie and he and Tharn both knew it.

Now let me ask you this, since you seem to think the rest of the viewing audience is so stupid, and I'm going to assume you watched TharnType all the way through-which is an entirely different topic because why did you keep watching if you were so distressed?: After watching that series did you feel compelled to go out and become sexually aggressive toward people in your own life? Did you find yourself wanting to blow someone in a shower against their will? Did you start hiding in the park waiting to rape boys? I doubt it, at least I hope not. But you seem to think that is how the rest of us react to this kind of material.

MOST people who are not burdened with sexual hangups find sexually aggressive behavior in films exciting and thrilling to whatever extent; many people fantasize about these situations without ever intending to live them out in real life. In the STORY Type kept saying "no" in the shower but that big ol' boner kept saying "yes." And afterwards he was glad it happened.

My god, I hope you never write a screenplay about any kind of romance. It would be the most boring thing in the world. Everyone behaving in PC and SJW-approved ways, being nice and kind to each other in every possible way.

STOP WATCHING BLs. Sexually aggressive behavior has always been a frequent plot point in the written stories on which most of them are based. Watch Disney. Watch the Christian Broadcasting System. So what the hell are you here for in the first place? Of course there is rape and sexually ambiguous behavior all over the Bible, especially in the Old Testament. All kinds of juicy stuff. Noah had sex with his DAUGHTERS when he was drunk and they initiated it. Go rant and rave at Bible publilshers to have those hot stories removed, dammit! lol

That is your OPINION and nothing else. Type loved that blowjob in the shower and you know it. Stop watching BLs. Again: drama requires conflict and questionable behavior, it is just a fact. Most people don't look to BLs for moral lessons and aren't as stupid as you SJWs condescendingly assume them to be. All kinds of things are entertaining and exciting to see in fiction that I would never want to happen in my real life. It is not a hard concept to grasp. TharnType is extremely popular, as it should be. The second season was horrible though.

Title Why R U?
I can't believe this has a lower rating than tharntype. THIS SHOW WAS SO BEAUTIFUL WTF- THE DEPTH OF THE CHARACTERS,…
Wow. You're nuts. lol I dropped this boring and politically-correct thing after a couple eps and only later watched a separate cut featuring only the Saifah/Zon story which was cute and hilarious. The boner scene alone makes the entire show worth enduring. :) I will never understand people who want to watch shows where everyone is nice and sweet and perfect to each other all the time. Boring as hell. Drama requires conflict and questionable behavior, the more of that there is, the more exciting/thriling/challenging the show will be and by contrast the good stuff feels even better. So yeah, TharnType is def in my top ten BLS of all time. If you think it's an "abomination" you should probably stop watching BLs and focus on the Disney Channel, though from what you wrote above that might even be too racy for you.

I think it has a good heart at its center, but yeah, everything else is extremely amateur-ish. Kind of like Bad…
Oh...I just realized the movie you are talking about. A young man dying of aids elects to have a big house party so he can say goodbye to those he loves while he is still in reasonably good shape, then do something as a form of euthenasia. I may have even seen it in a theatre. I think Eric Roberts is the lead.

Just for the sake of angst, I would like to have seen more of a struggle from YS as to transferring his love from a woman in one life to a man in this life. We saw some early shock, then hostility, then awkwardness, then kissing/hugging, but it seems, for instance, that he would feel really weird as a straight man finding himself in a position where the thing to do is make love to a man, even if he knows it's his love from another life inside the man. I mean, there are the simple mechanics of what you do and what goes where when having gay sex as opposed to straight and it would have been really fun to see him deal with that. They could play it both for drama AND comedy.

BUT, as others have said, perhaps the writers are having to rush everything because they only have six episodes to tell the story.

Wow. This drama actually got me hooked. Although there are scenes that got me confused and made me felt that it…
It is a nice little, sweet show. The acting/direction and story are good enough that I haven't had to drop it, as I've dropped most of the other BLs running right now.

I'm confused. Is the actress who's playing Hayeon in past life, the same girl as the one playing Hayeon's sister???…
Yes. The resemblance of Hayeon's sister to his lover in the past who was killed in that explosion is why YS startled when she walked into that business meeting a couple of eps. ago. He recognized the face. I'm dubious as to whether we carry our looks with us into past lives or not, but in this series we do. :)
