I got the vibe after this episode, especially near the end where SW seemed to ALMOST confess but did not, that maybe he is discovering that he doesn't like TK as much in a romantic way as in a platonic way...? What do you think?
Contrary to what everyone else is saying i dont think sohee is getting out easy of this one, and i do think it…
I like what you wrote here. I agree and found myself surprised at myself that I was liking that So Hee was allowed to redeem herself...and the realism of the fact that it will take time. But I like that she too has a heart.
I don't know if that is a general custom, but I can confirm that this is the case in Thailand, and Vietnam as…
Thank you for your reply. So how would your boyfriend react if you had a NEW boyfriend when he returned, right there in your place of residence? Do these disappearing people expect the ones they leave to just put their lives on pause and wait for them to return? I mean, I'm sure this behavior happens here and there all over the world, but the commenter I interacted with was claiming it was a cultural norm in Thailand.
Can you recommend us your top 10 bl series, please ? I found that you like this series & so i am , so i trust your…
Hmmm...thanks for asking. I have a top ten BLs I suppose, but within that top ten I haven't ever listed the best.

I pretty much agree. I think TK is beyond both Shinwoo and Daon. I don't think his life would be more enriched…
Thanks for your thoughts. You made me think about Shin Woo's tentative qualities and I agree they are there. But I think they are there for a specific reason, that being the trauma he's been through before regarding his sexuality. And I see him now opening up rapidly and starting to aggressively go after what he wants, in this case that being TK. Look at the way he was so direct and honest, even deferential in his giving Daon every reasonable chance to pursue TK before he did so himself. My take is that Shin Woo was once very open about his sexuality, and it cost him dearly, so he chose to put up those titanium walls to protect himself. Now, inspired by TK and his feelings for him, Shin Woo is rapidly dismantling those walls. I have no doubt that at TK's side he will be an open, confident, self-actualized partner.
You said he's not communicative, but the plethora of text messages he left for TK shows that too changing quickly. I loved the way his texts were about mundane things like not getting wet in the rain, that showed he was thinking of TK and his welfare, but not pushing him for a relationship. The messages, in their boring simplicity, were actually a beautiful act of love. And he kept sending them regardless of the fact he was getting no response from TK, which shows perseverance and determination.
Interesting how you feel about Daon. I have found him extremely off-putting from the very beginning. I get the reasons he is the way he is, but still, that's the way he is and it's been annoying af. On the other hand, I felt great empathy for him in this last episode, loved the way he handled So Hee, and am happy to see that he too is growing and changing. I DO however, hope that phone call is too late to change what's developing between Shin Woo and TK. We'll soon find out. :)
I love TK! He's not heartless and robotic, he's analytical, observant and actually quite kind. He also doesn't mind calling "bullshit!" when he sees bullshit, and he does it in a calm, collected, non-aggressive way just by choosing his words well. The slight Asperger's or whatever he's got separates him just enough from the world that he can see clearly from his perspective what a lot of us cannot see from ours. So naturally, this bullshit-calling quality is going to bring out the haters. A lot of people wallow in bullshit all their lives. Much of our social/political/financial norms are mired in bullshit but most people would rather die than admit it. So when TK calmly says "bullshit," some commenters get defensive.
So Daon was a villain because he was publicly outed and is unsure of his sexuality and needed time to come to…
You may be forgetting the day when Daon was outed and mocked and whispered about, when TK spent the entire day trying to find him to see how he was doing and make sure he was OK. And Daon spent the day avoiding TK because he was afraid.
You know, most people aren't villains OR heroes; we exist somewhere in between. I liked Daon a lot better this episode, as I'm seeing some growth. I actually felt badly for him.
I really want to say that throughout this series I have disliked Daon intensely and never wanted in the slightest for him to end up with TK. BUT...my feelings toward that character are a tribute to the exceptional skills of the actor playing him. Choe Chan Yi. I have never seen Daon be even a little bit out of character; he is always full-on Daon. It was nice today to see Daon growing and I felt empathy for him because growing is often very painful and I think that's what's going on with him now.
OK, the other day I was doing comment battle with a person claiming to be a Thai woman, who I have since blocked. lol She claimed that in Thailand it is not unusual for people to just up and disappear from loved ones without a trace or a word, sometimes for years, and then to return unannounced. She said when this happens it is considered rude, selfish and nosy to insist that the person who disappeared explain themselves...that people just wait for them to eventually tell their story in their own time; that this explains why Nut is not more aggressively demanding answers from Phob. I think this commenter is either just a liar or is crazy. Surely this behavior is not an accepted thing in Thailand. Can anyone confirm that it is? lol I mean, you just leave your spouse or BF/GF for months or years...? What if they move to another place and take up a romance with someone else, or whatever? When the mystery person returns they're just supposed to dump the new lover, move back, what? OK, the more I try to put this in words, the more I think she was just full of nonsense, but she/they were so insistent that I thought I'd ask.
BTW...poor Nut is not being very smart about getting info from Phob. I would def have not put out in the sack until I got all the answers I wanted.
I've pretty much watched every BL ever made. Unlike you, I drop series I don't like. I think it's clear why you watched this whole thing: You LIKED it. If you're so sick of discussing this, don't reply.
I believe a lot of things have been lost in translation into English subs… everything has made so much sense…
I'm done arguing with you because you prize your stupidity too much to make it worthwhile, but you should probably know that calling someone a "retard" is now considered extremely backward, cruel, inappropriate and a slap in the face to every mentally-challenged person and their loved ones. Educated, civilized people don't throw that word around anymore. Which is, of course, why you do.
I believe a lot of things have been lost in translation into English subs… everything has made so much sense…
I love the show, asshole. Who's psycho? You're the one disappearing on loved ones with no explanation and thinking it's no big deal. THAT'S psycho. I'll assume you are single.
Why are the kisses in BL dramas so much hotter than M/F dramas?! Almost every BL drama I've seen so far has had…
You must not have watched SOTUS or SOTUS S, along with many other well-known BLs, which feature something known as "mannequin kissing." (I love that name.) The actors sort of lean in and the camera pans around so you can't see their mouths but you can tell from the angles of the heads that they are NOT kissing. Then there is zero movement of the heads or bodies; it's as though you leaned two mannequins against each other at the neck and pretended they were making out. The first time I saw this in SOTUS, I was like wtf? Thankfully, TharnType and Together With Me and its sequel quickly showed me how to dudes can actually make out for the camera.
Many BL fans still haven't watched it because of the age-gap. Such a shame.
People are so weird. Do they actually think a 12=year age gap is something unheard of in relationships? Far from it. It's strange to me that all these BL fans can be A-OK with watching fictional series about romantic relationships between men, which would give their grandmothers heart-attacks, but at the same time be so judgemental about other aspects of interpersonal relationships. Some people are mature for their age, others less so. Who cares? Bizarre.
Is Shin Woo maybe discovering he doesn't really like TK as much as he thought he did, at least in a romantic sense? Interesting turn of events...
