🤣 the funniest thing was BXR hit her head & collapsed unmoving with closed eyes. I thought the drama changed the way she died but once they’re out of the house, she walked! 🤣

So hilarious! She smashed her head and I thought oh she died like this in this version? Then YTX carried her out of the house & she started walking 🤣 I was like oh ok not dead yet. Then came the part where they committed suicide together. He stabbed himself & she followed. I thought oh ok they’re dead now. Then he started talking…not dead yet. Then he laid down his head. Suddenly she spoke to him 🤣 Eh? She’s still not dead? Then he spoke and eventually they died for real 🤣🤣🤣

Aaahahahaha!! I kept thinking Yang Tiexin and wife had died but then they started walking and talking the next moment. Then I thought ok, they finally died but then they could still talk 🤣

You’re right. That part stood out for me too. Suddenly Huang Rong is just a sweet and soft girl. Nah. But everything moved so fast I didn’t have time to analyze too much 🤣

Oh yeah too fast to cry. That’s the only part I find a bit too soft for her character.

Huang Rong is not too bad. The spirit is there but I think there’s not enough screen time to show her cunningness. Everything happened so fast.

Yeah I thought of the 18 Dragon Subduing Palm(thanks for the Eng name 🤣 I only know the Cantonese name) but the CGI is still a little strange to me.

Woah I watched 3 eps but I felt as if I’ve watched the drama in 1.5x speed 🤣 They sped through the story that I think if ppl don’t know the story already, they’d be very confused. It’s not bad so far except the dragon CGI is quite a funny way to show Guojing leveling up 🤣 I do like the cast so far but can they slow down a bit?

Hmm I don't know anything about this actress nor seen her on screen before so I have no idea how good she would be as Huang Rong. Let's see with this one. Hope she's good.

I didn't watch TTEOM, what's the name of the actress? Somehow I couldn't get a Huang Rong that I'm satisfied with...

I saw a clip showing Wang Shitu finally reuniting with Doudou and they both were sitting opposite each other without a word. Then both of them started quietly tearing up. WST took the hat off Doudou's head and put it on his own. This scene was actually played by Zhang Songwen & Doudou was Rong Zishan but the set didn't look like in the drama. I saw it from a comment on Weibo and apparently the clip's from an extra on iQiyi but I'm not sure.

Another one is that someone asked Zhang Songwen how would he write the ending for the drama if given the choice. He said Wang Shitu would be 70 yrs old eating noodles at home after he retired. Then the doorbell rang. He opened the door and saw a middle-aged Xiao Qi. Xiao Qi says: Uncle Wang, look who I brought back? A middle-aged man was pulled into the picture, then the scene ends with a caption.

So hopefully these 2 scenarios can give us some nice closure.
