Actually I just wanna say that Guo Ke Yu the actress who played Bian Jie’s mom was brilliant. I’m sad that Xiao Qi is never shown to be Doudou or not. Why didn’t they just do a DNA test? I wish he is Doudou but I can understand that this ending is more realistic. What a fun ride with everyone here! We managed to guess some theories correctly. Good drama all in all, I cried a bit in the end and felt sad for Wang Shitu and all the real missing kids and their parents.

I finished the last 2 eps coz I couldn’t wait. Some thoughts below:

Yeah other kids aside, with Xiao Qi having so many similarities with Doudou I also wondered why WST didn’t think to do a test. The only reason I can think of is because WST is super confident that he could recognize his son at a glance so he thinks Xiao Qi is not. I have a feeling now that maybe Xiao Qi really is not Doudou coz when he goes to WST’s house the 1st time, he was asked to choose a room and if he’s Doudou, the script will have him pick Doudou’s room to show us more clues that he is the lost son.

Absolutely evil man! I don't trust him one bit. In fact I'm getting very agitated with him having excuses for everything and blaming everything on Bian Jie coz he couldn't be there to defend himself. What adult does this to a child?! So yes I think he's involved in the child trafficking business and maybe his bro-in-law helps him too.

Actually his character has been somewhat in the background in the last few episodes. Just him questioning a bit here and there and having nice moments with Xiao Qi. Wang Shitu can’t be just that right? Or this role wouldn’t attract ZSW 🤔

Ok more is revealed now but I’m frustrated. What is this about hiding the truth to protect your loved ones? Duyi father & son like that and now Yanzi & JMF too 🙄 Only JMF is the most selfish of all. He I’m hiding the truth from his daughter has caused her to be guilt-ridden for years. Now let’s see if he’s gonna be the good dad & tell the truth to save his daughter or let his daughter take the responsibility.

Omigosh I think you could be right abt Jin Manfu and his bro-in-law running the child trafficking ring! On Ep 11, I was shocked at the aggression from Jin Manfu’s bro in law. That was so unnecessary, he didn’t have to beat him like that!

The actress who plays the mom is so good and it looks like she’s gonna play a bigger role in the coming episodes. Can’t wait!

Same. Child trafficking seems to be a serious problem in the 90s and 00s judging by the years those kids went missing.

It should be up by today or tomorrow. That’s what happened with Ep 8 so hopefully it’s the same with this.
