Title The Legend of Heroes: Hot Blooded
To me the best is still the 1983 version. However the 2017 version was closest adaptation to novel. I feel this…
I also like the 2017’s opening music, inspired by the 1983 version.

Title The Legend of Heroes
Younger Four Greats, any thoughts?Maybe I got used to the old styled 1983 versions but looking at Zhou Yiwei and…
They’re so young I thought they were gonna talk abt their lives when they were younger 🤣 Definitely trying to target the younger audience.

I felt he like neither of them. He doesn’t really want Huang Rong to be married.
Oh yeah HYS is supposed to be weird 🤣

I think he once he gave his word so he would pretty much have had to. In fact I think he preferred Ouyang Ke over…
Ok if he really didn’t know what kind of man Ouyang Ke is then that makes sense although Huang Rong has told him many times what kinda person he is.

Title The Legend of Heroes: Hot Blooded Spoiler
I felt he like neither of them. He doesn’t really want Huang Rong to be married.
But he made a promise so he expected Ouyang Ke to win. That means he is ready to hand her to him. I couldn’t understand why he would do that to his beloved daughter unless it’s like what PeachBlossomgoddess said below.

I wonder if Huang Yaoshi would really let Huang Rong marry Ouyang Ke if Guojing loses. He knows what kinda person Ouyang Ke is. Would he really let his daughter marry that lecherous lil shit?

🤣 the good thing abt this drama is that since everything is sped up, it applies to annoying characters too.

I guess he might know that would be the outcome but at that point when they met again, I don’t think he noticed yet.

I don’t remember much details from the 1983 version anymore except Mei Chaofeng was so terrifying her face was burned into my brain.

I think this director doesn't like beards - he pretty much got rid of it for both H7G and Huang Yaoshi. C-netizens…
That’s why when they showed the teasers I thought they were gonna tell the stories of the older gen when they were young 🤣 At least though, ZYW managed to capture HYS’s charisma.
