This was the first kdrama I ever watched. Little did I know it was to have been the only one I would enjoy. I love the darkness, the mystery, the psychos, the suspense. More, I say. Give me more! MUAHAHA. -Ehem-... This was very good... please watch :3
I felt more chemistry between Hai Qing and Pin Jun than between Hai Qing and Yan Fei. I almost wish the actor who played Pin Jun had been cast in Yan Fei's role, maybe then I would have been more conflicted about the love triangle.
Well that's what Kang Seo Jun said at the finishing of the 1st Episode " We have met twice a day, it must be our…
Writers often use coincidental events as a plot device without putting any real depth into it. It's a tricky thing to handle and the general rule of thumb is depend as much as you can on choices not on chance. If I'm watching a movie and something really coincidental happens I shouldn't be saying to myself, 'yeah right.' Poor use of coincidence makes the story feel contrived. Now, a more believable coincidence to me would have been something like Kang Seo Joon saying he's hungry, then looking out window after driving for a bit and seeing Han Ji Woo taking out the trash or something and thinking to himself, 'that guy's cute Imma choose that restaurant.' Or better yet, throw away the coincidence all together and have them meet for the first time in some other charming/quirky way. I loved all the rest of the series so the writing was obvs fantastic for the most part =)
I keep seeing this everywhere on the internet categorized as BL but it's not right? It's just bromance? I personally don't consider something BL unless there's at least some hand-holding... maybe long, heavy looks count, too. Or is this just another example of Chinese censorship being the spawn of Satan?
I loved this but the story felt a bit forced at times. Like I'm going to believe the dude just happened to pick the other dude's restaurant to eat at of all the places to chose from. That type of grand coincidence feels like lazy writing. It's cute and entertaining so definitely worth the watch though :P
This was such a good film!! The little girl who played Blithe was an amazing actor. The rest of the cast was great, too. This is a very heart-warming story about a father and daughter who share a special bond. There wasn't as much boxing in this as I thought there'd be. A large portion of the film was about Blithe and her father, but the writer/director handled it nicely so I didn't mind. I'd definitely describe this more as a family drama than a sports movie.
This was an alright film. The most interesting part was the dynamic between the doctor, gang leader, and cop. It follows the usual tropes; bad guy gets what's coming, good guy wins the day, etc.
