I had no idea about this series until I accidentally stumbled on the Valentine and Rokkaku spin-off episode. I watched that and really liked it then found out there was a whole series and so I got pretty excited and binged the whole thing. I'd say try the same route I did - watch the Valntine and Rokkaku episode first and if you're still not interested then I'd say skip this one.

Yeah that's almost exactly it; there seemed to be a distance between them that just wasn't closed by the end of the series. It's hard to pinpoint exactly, but if I had to guess I would almost say it was the actor who played Kurosawa - either that or the writers who wrote his character. There was a lack of depth to him. Like I wanted to see him get angry or be more emotional towards things at times rather than just smiling and making it seem like everything would always be okay. Maybe it was just the lack of intimacy the writers gave the show that kept me from feeling their connection. I don't think so, though.
As for Minato and Tsuge, they didn't have a HUGE amount of chemistry, but I'd say definitely more than the ML's.
I'll start by saying I freaking loved this! It was so wholesome and funny. My favourite parts were when they played that angelic music while showing what Kurosawa was fantasizing about. While the individual casting was great, I felt a lack of chemistry between Kurosawa and Adachi. Even though I can't imagine anyone else in their roles because they were both so perfect, that romantic spark just wasn't there for me. I felt more chemistry from the actors who played Minato and Tsuge tbh. And I wish there had been more kisses! We barely got to see one, if any at all! Anywho, the overall impression this series left me with was very positive. They did a great job.

The production quality was very good and the story was interesting but the acting was a hit and miss which took away from the film a bit for me. It's on youtube with english subs for the time being.
