he doesn’t know ALL of the things Jing did but he knows enough to regret pushing XY to him because he needed his help and that he was stressed when Jing was in a coma and dying because he neeeded his help so that alone shows that he’s definitely ungrateful.

and the way he tried to attribute all the things Jing did to Fenglong. Fenglong literally did everything JING told him to do. Fenglong is no mastermind. Every move to get CX on the throne was JING & even XY by going after the uncles at court during the assisaination framing, maneuvering CX into place. CX is well aware that he needed Jings help as evidenced by his pushing XY toward Jing for his own needs. Both FL and CX knew they were f****ed when Jing was in his coma and the two ungratefuls first thought when he woke up was he could now save them. And CX has the nerve to crap on JING. He may not have known EVERYTHING Jing did but he knew more than enough.

and the “ni” “you” is easily up for interpretation as it could mean “you, you are hypnotizing me. why are you doing this to me” which is why she follows it up with “why why”

as bad as the execution of Ep 17 was…… they made it up with the nearly perfect execution of episode 18. From beginning to end it was a masterpiece.

hmmmmm….. to me he was verging on violent when he snapped at XY after they went to the cage fights and she said “what if I had rescued you” and then he said “you aren’t worthy” and he decided she was insulting his foster father and he snapped and went red eyes and Jing wisked her away.

then he snapped again when he was questioning her about who she wanted to marry and he gave her intense head pain and she kept asking him “why”

both of those scenes showed me that he was still unstable and scary and could snap on her.
