Can someone tell me who is the person xiaoyao meets in her parents house on episode 14?
it’s her mother who was injured on the battlefield and turned into a sort of monster but her spirit is kept alive so that she can meet XY

It's also such hypocrisy from Jing and XY, who both doesn't care about Jing adoptive son at allNo matter what…
you are missing the entire point. It’s not that she was left as a child of war, it’s that she was the child of enemies who people wanted to hunt and kill and she didn’t even know who she was. That’s not typical child of war that’s extremely Atypical and she suffered things no other children of war had to suffer because of her unique healing DNA people wanted to hunt coupled with the revenge they wanted to take on her because of her father.

For CX his mother committed suicide. She didn’t die on the battlefield. She killed herself in front of him. That’s the trauma of her death + the resentment that she did it in front of him as if he wasn’t worthy to live for.

I can understand some criticisms but the idea that XY or CX haven’t suffered unique traumas and are just like every child of war then is not true. And they are both extremely high functioning and incredibly resilient which is a huge testament to their characters. but the show is exploring people’s trauma and how they cope with it, navigate it, heal from it.

@peng-peng "They wasted my time with CX and his servant declaring her crush to him. How many times are they going…
one person downrates an episode and you assume a whole group of Jing fans are downvoting a show???? by this logic it’s much more likely disgruntled XL fans are the ones downvoting since they are the most unhappy yet no one is accusing some unhinged XL shippers on downrating. ONE person is not evidence of anything. I am sure XL fans have also downvoted episodes where YAOJING is heavily featured.

more than anyone it is likely YANG ZI haters downvoting. in any case stop creating so much antagonism in these comments constantly trying to trash “Jing Fans”. it’s literally just toxic and you and others have driven so many watchers off the comments section because they find it unbearably toxic.

Ive been reading the novel these past couple of days and i have to say i prefer the drama. The credit goes to…
it was pretty obvious to me in the drama that he kept trying to touch the mermaids hand but never could. He even showed subtle dismay each time he tried and couldn’t make contact because of the Barrier with the globe. My interpretation was that there would always be a barrier between him & XY. Whether it was XY devotion to Jing or XL devotion to the Chenrong Army, no matter what there would always be a barrier preventing them from being lovers.

How many episodes do we have as of the moment? When will this drama end?
23 episodes in total for Part 2.

10 episodes have aired.

M-T-W 2 episodes a day = 6 episodes
Thursday 1 episode = 7 episodes this coming week to put it at 17 episodes

So it should end in 2 weeks.

The show makes it very confusing in the first 20 episodes but the Xiyan King makes it clear in episode 21 I think…
Yes true, they did insert that “half” line. it’s all convoluted and they should have either made it more clear or left it out and stuck to the original story but I guess censorship. Sigh.

I need help from someone to clarify something for me..So is Aheng a.k.a Xiao Yao's mother, the daughter of Xiyan…
The show makes it very confusing in the first 20 episodes but the Xiyan King makes it clear in episode 21 I think it is in a scene where he says that XaiYao does not look like her mother but he says “your face and mouth really resemble your grandmother. Exactly like hers when I met her” (his wife) making clear that she is his bio granddaughter. There is some weird script writing there by calling her mother the disciple early in the show but making clear once they reunite with the grandpa that she is his bio granddaughter whose mother was the bio sister of XC father making them cousins.

On Lost You Forever Season 2 Jul 13, 2024
A lot of people here seem to think this was filmed as 2 separate seasons with a break in between. To my understanding this was all filmed in one go as one season but because of the new rules that a show cannot be more than 40 episodes, they broke the 1 whole season filmed into 2 parts for airing. So don’t over analyze the first versus second as if they are separate entities. There was likely a lot filmed that was left on the cutting room floor but there wasn’t a break between parts in the writing or production stage. It’s all one and they just aired it under the current rules as 2 Parts/“seasons”.

Why are some sad people downrating episodes that haven't even aired yet? 🤦‍♀️
I think it’s mostly Yang Zi haters. They are relentless 😿

yes it’s a happy ending for our FL who gets to be with the man she is in love with from the beginning. it’s…
most people ask if it’s light and fluffy if what they are looking for is light and fluffy. Those strictly asking about the ending usually mean they want to know the ending. And if it’s a bad sad ending they don’t want to watch. I don’t assume anything. I just answer the question asked.

Nobody said it was fluff or not full of angst. The question was is it a happy ending and for XY it is a happy ending for HER and she is our main character 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s usually the metric by which a happy ending is judged. If our main character ends up with the person she loves 🤷🏻‍♀️ Lots of pain in between but she gets her H. E.

Y'all I don't understand how most of the people here are YaoJing fans. Personally I am more of a YaoLiu fan and…
A lot of us are not shippers who have a set “fave”.

We just root for XaioYao to heal and get what SHE wants. To find peace and happiness. This isn’t complicated. Our fave is XaioYao and we want what she wants 🤷🏻‍♀️

somebody tell me is it a happy ending? or it it related to season 1 do I have to watch season 1 to watch this…
yes it’s a happy ending for our FL who gets to be with the man she is in love with from the beginning.

it’s not a happy ending for shippers of the other male characters who want her to be with their personal fave.

yes you HAVE to watch part 1 to watch part 2. And you should. it’s incredible.

No i honestly love it. It's simple and not too flashy. I hate the princess, ultimate beauty kinda style. A more…
the scenes I’m referring too that I disliked the styling are the opposite of down to earth and modest. Specifically the hair and dress styling for the banquet where she is introduced as the returned Princess of Haoling. I much prefer her in simple colors and hair.
