Remains a mystery to me.Jin Mu lied to Papa Jin to manipulate him, its obvious to me. But he believed because…
It was written VERY badly I agree. But Jin Mu himself makes it clear in his narration when he says that she is half Jin/Half Choi.
The rest of the dialogue after that is just to explain why from Papa Jin’s perspective he was willing to use JBY to take control of the ice stone. They needed to explain why he would do this to his own daughter. So him saying he thinks she must be Jang Gangs explains it. But Jin Mu is making it clear that it was not actually true.
And wait Jin byeon was told to be jang gang's daughter right? So they are practically siblings 🤔
She’s really his daughter. Jin Mu just used his insecurity complex to make him doubt it so he would be ok getting rid of her so they could control the ice stone. Jin Mu makes it clear in his narration that she is Half Jin/ Half CHOI.
Yea, though there will still be questions to be addressed as to how and why it was hidden (her body was officially…
Exactly. This is my main Hangup about the Jin Mu ice theory. At the time he burned her body he really really wanted her gone specifically so she could never come back to get revenge on him or tell on him. There is zero motivation for why he would keep her body with what he knew at that specific time.
Furthermore Gil Ju stashed her body somewhere why wouldn’t he tell her/them that when he was telling them everything else as he was dying. Even if it was a super cryptic clue.
I eagerly await how this bunny gets pulled from the hat!
I really can't tell how people can bitch about the cast change.. like seriously u do realize Naksu the main lead…
In most if not ALL body swap movies/drama’s the director repeatedly reminds the audience with VISUAL scene cuts and cues, flashbacks etc that this person has swapped bodies and also still sees themself as their original self.
This show, for whatever reason has made the choice to NOT do that, to NOT remind the audience with visual cues and scenes that that Naksu herself thinks of herself in her own mind as her original form. In fact, they showed YOUNG NAKSU more than OLD Naksu so people REALLY don’t have much attachment to OG Naksu’s image. Typically directors would use cut ins during intimate scenes, mirror scenes, etc …. Important scenes like for instance today while she was wearing the wedding dress, her seeing herself in the mirror it would normally be filmed that what she sees/feels is her OG image in the wedding dress. This is a tool to both remind the audience that these are two separate entities and also get them comfortable with a SWAP BACK.
I cannot think of one body swap movie or drama that did not use visual cuts throughout like AOS hasn’t. And it may be a huge mistake on their part because it will be jarring to many viewers who have not had any time to build up an affection/attachment/familiarity with OG Naksu visually over 19 episodes to match THAT FACE with all of her character growth versus 20 episodes of which 99% have been the visual & emotional attachment to Meudoks VISUAL character.
If you don’t understand this and why it’s never done because of exactly the issue people are having now I don’t know what to tell you 🤷🏻♀️ It’s pretty common/standard and bizarre why AOS decided to go this route.
I honestly didn't expect much of him. The only thing I wanted was for him to reveal the truth and take responsibility…
I didn’t either and I don’t think the producers “hyped up” his return to be something epic. I think some fans project things onto the story that aren’t really actually there.
I would have liked maybe a little more but IMO the way Park Jin repeatedly said “Jang Gang needs to return to set everything right” was a pretty clear foreshadowing that Jang Gang needed to come back and basically pay for his mess.
No idea why people thought he was coming back to save the world or do badass powerful stuff 🤷🏻♀️
Remains a mystery to me.Jin Mu lied to Papa Jin to manipulate him, its obvious to me. But he believed because…
Not already pregnant. It could easily just be pregnant. That they were young, she got pregnant by him so she agreed to marry him and then later his insecurity makes him think Jang Gang & his wife had an affair and it’s really his baby. Jin Mu makes clear that she’s half Jin/Half Choi.
I get what you are saying but it's Papa Jin (Jin Woo-Tak) who says " I'm sure that Bu-Yeon is Jang Gang's daugther".…
You’re only paying attention to half of the conversation.
The half you are paying attention to could easily mean that he got her pregnant which allowed them to get married. Then Jin Mu manipulated him because “he was insecure and had an inferiority complex about Jang Gang” into believing she was really Jang Gangs daughter aka Mama Jin had an affair. Jin Mu makes it clear it’s only Papa Jin’s insecurity that made him doubt who her real father was. Which was what Jin Mu needed to be able to get Jin BY and kill her.
It’s badly written which is why so many people are confused. It’s pretty clear Mama Jin and Jang Gang were not super close and it’s ALSO made clear that Jang Gang loved his wife Do-Ha.
First, Bu-Yeon is not Jang Kang's daughter. He only helped revive her when mama Jin asked him to. And they clearly…
He needed to believe Jang Gang was her real father in order to be ok using her and sacrificing/killing her to get the ice stone. So Jin Mu played on Papa Jin’s insecurity/inferiority complex by making him think he wasn’t BY real father.
It was Jin Mu manipulating him in order to get him to be ok taking her to get the ice stone and throwing her overboard.
One thing that annoys me is how Naksu suddenly is content with being just a maid when she couldn't wait to be…
That’s really not what the whole show is about. That’s what the first few episodes were about.
The show is about how all she had as Naksu was her powers. She had no friends, no family, no love, and nothing else to live for but revenge. But over the episodes she loses the one thing she had (Powers) but gains all the things she did not have. And now she is finally happier. While many viewers are obsessed with her the way she was, it was not a happy life for her to live as Naksu, so she isn’t obsessed with her powers anymore. Her main motivation was always to get the ice stone so that she would not “Run Wild” . It was fun to taste having her powers again but both she and Jang Uk and the show are about sacrificing power to protect people.
The show is about her character growth as well as Jang Uk’s. It’s not about her going back to her old self. Or even her old body. That’s a viewers projection onto her.
Great point about So Yi taking the worm out her body, I remember Jin Mu threaten her that if she ran the worm…
Pretty sure she didn’t remove the worm. People are just saying she did but it’s highly doubtful because it would be a huge plot hole if she could do that that easily.

It was just badly written.
