This is really the problem when viewers only care for the actors irl more than the plot.
Everything we’ve seen supports the idea of her either staying in JBY or finding a new host. This is a show that loves to drop hints and crumbs and lead the viewer by the neck yet I haven’t seen a single crumb that makes her going back to her OG body a remote possibility or even something Naksu herself has wished for. If she goes back to her old body with the show never doing scenes to remind the audience of what she looked like or how she even sees herself in her head, it’s going to be extremely jarring to the audience. That’s how television works.

So can I just say I disagree with this one comment. It’s actually the reverse. Most watchers care about the plot and the characters and it feels like it’s now become the GYJ fans who don’t really care how the story goes so long as she is the FL in Part 2.
I don’t ship people. And I wanted more OG Naksu for awhile but since the plot has gone the way it’s gone and in ways I did not expect I just no longer see how a return to her old body works both logistically and emotionally for her character in the story. I’m sure many if not most people are not JSM Stan’s who have some mission against GYJ.

I just sharpened / tried to unblur the photo and it does look more like a headband than a blindfold because it’s not resting over the ears and seems to be sitting above the eyes toward the forehead. But I agree headbands of that goreo/Joseon style where it’s tied around the foreheadhaven’t been seen so far on this show that I can recall. The other issue is….. if it was Naksu why would she be blind or wearing a blindfold? If it is a blindfold wouldn’t that support it more likely being Jin BY? This isn’t giving Naksu to me at all am I crazy 🤷🏻♀️
My guess is it’s neither one based on the hair style
These media outlets who published the articles about Part 2 that I am reading are really so confident reporting…
From everything I’ve read the original source is known for being often wrong and the articles since then have all come from that one source. It could very likely be true but I have yet to see any confirmation or supporting evidence or a single reputable source from anywhere 🤷🏻♀️ Couple that with a complete lack of evidence to support the idea from within the show itself, which has only expanded JSM role as the show has progressed with the priestess character and it just doesn’t seem to make sense that there is no JSM in the remaining 10 episodes……

Totally disagree with your last fact. When faced with the possibility of ditching the weak body she already “shy’d away” because it would come at a cost too high for her . So she already clearly showed that if there is a cost to leaving the weak body for a new one she is not actually willing to pay the cost at the expense of people she cares about.

I think consciously she thinks or thought temporary host but subconsciously she has grown attached to the host identity so actually it’s both things that keep her from being focused on the idea there is more to her hosts identity
I see a lot of people calling Naksu dumb or frustrated that she hasn’t figured out whose body she is in and that people are also frustrated because they want OG “badass” Naksu’s return.
After the most recent episodes it’s occurred to me that Naksu isn’t racking her brain about whose body she is in because she purposely does not WANT to/Care to. She LIKES that MD was essentially a blank slate that she could hide in temporarily and completely shed her old identity. Yes, she hates not having her powers, but over 18 episodes she has found new life built around the bonds of friendship, loyalty and love which are things she hasn’t had for most of her life. So while WE are like HELLO YOU ARE SO SMART WHY ARENT YOU FIGURING THIS OUT…… *SHE* doesn’t really CARE. She has no idea two souls can live in one body. Deep DEEP down she doesn’t *want* to be someone else anymore. She has bonded with her new identity and the people who know her as MD so it will be devastating to her if she has to shift into someone else or even back to her old self because of everything that will come as a consequence of her no longer being MD.
So have some pity & understanding for our girl Naksu. She ISNT the old Naksu. She isn’t the isolated loner Shadow Assassin anymore. Episode 18 made this crystal clear.
I have no idea what will happen but I know that this character subconsciously isn’t interested in the mystery of her body because she’s become attached to her identity as MD.
She isn’t dumb. She’s proven over and over how smart & crafty she is. But in this story in her world surviving as MD and being close to Uk has become central to her life above all else.
It’s for this reason I believe Naksu’s soul having to separate from JBY body will be a tragedy for HER, for NAKSU that will make her heart break into pieces and devastate her.
0% chance Jang Gang is the father. She gets her powers from the ice stone. People think Jim Mu’s talking about her father but he’s not. And Jang Gang is definitely NOT her father.
People are going way too hard over a NON CONFIRMED RUMOR that there is zero evidence to confirm. GYJ fans may end up like this 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
And JSM fans may end up like this 💔💔💔💔💔💔😿😿😿😿
But anyone who thinks they know for sure what’s happening with either actress for season 2 is way ahead of themselves because it has literally NOT be confirmed by any reputable source what will happen and neither actress has been seen filming 🤷🏻♀️
