A question hereWho gets magic by birth ? The current king doesn't have magic but Jin mu has
Only very rare special people have magic by birth. Uk is one. Jin Bu Yeon is another. Naksu might have been one but we don’t know. Most have to train for decades.
with all the chaos regarding JSM’s appearance/participation in S2, I think we are forgetting that this story…
You realize GYJ was also only asked to make a “cameo” appearance at the beginning of the show which implies she was never intended to become a main role. So I wouldn’t read too much into anything about Junior vs senior actors being a factor and I also would hold off on being so sure that JSM will not appear in season 2. We really have no clue and without that tabloid report that has gone recirculated baby hundreds of sites I don’t think people would be even thinking about this stuff. We all need to just watch and see what unfolds.
I think BigMouth is on the way to overtake Aos, or become equal to it
What’s crazy is that it is on Disney + so it has much more limited access for average viewers. So that it’s doing so well is kind of amazing. I love both shows but AOS still wins my heart!
Me hoping for the biggest Plot twist 🤞Buyeon sounded kinda scary when she and Mudeok were inside the icestone…
Older BY personality was much more like Naksu’s personality not the gentle extremely sweet person people from Sari village describe ! It’s Fascinating!
Can confirm as well that the articles I read said that filming for Part 2 began in July. No idea how long it would take for 10 episodes. My guess is they finish early October 🤷🏻♀️
Does anyone know why they decided to make Yoo In Soo look like an idol? I mean what is their rationale? He looks…
It was a purposeful styling choice to make it clear this is a fantasy historical fusion drama that exits in an imaginary place with different styles and customs. They wanted to be clear that this is a fantasy story not at all based on anything traditional.
This is really the problem when viewers only care for the actors irl more than the plot.
Everything we’ve seen supports the idea of her either staying in JBY or finding a new host. This is a show that loves to drop hints and crumbs and lead the viewer by the neck yet I haven’t seen a single crumb that makes her going back to her OG body a remote possibility or even something Naksu herself has wished for. If she goes back to her old body with the show never doing scenes to remind the audience of what she looked like or how she even sees herself in her head, it’s going to be extremely jarring to the audience. That’s how television works.

Can someone tell me why “ for the plot” it makes sense for her to go back to her old body knowing everything you know so far? And what the ramifications for her would be?

So can I just say I disagree with this one comment. It’s actually the reverse. Most watchers care about the plot and the characters and it feels like it’s now become the GYJ fans who don’t really care how the story goes so long as she is the FL in Part 2.
I don’t ship people. And I wanted more OG Naksu for awhile but since the plot has gone the way it’s gone and in ways I did not expect I just no longer see how a return to her old body works both logistically and emotionally for her character in the story. I’m sure many if not most people are not JSM Stan’s who have some mission against GYJ.
