huh FL literally says ML's dad is older so he can adopt her dad lol. and that would make the ML her uncle.
about train track scene, the ML explains to her what difference does it make if they are legally bound, and she knows too(as she explains to huiju as well) that being related or same surname or not doesn't make them any less than family. the point of the adoption contract mention and her subsequent understanding in ep2 isn't just about romance, it's about juwon and us as audience understand that judgements or legality - neither of it makes them any less than family. add to this: he said we aren't 'family', and she was upset about him not telling about his alleged gf! 🤦‍♀️

and lmao pls don't project. clearly we have different perspectives. it's clear to me how the dynamics in the drama are like. rewatch it or don't watch it if you don't want to lmao!
and ep2 starting she mentions the bullying, the letter delivery, and how having the same surname could alleviate claims that she is preventing the other girls being setup with the boys cuz she is interested in them! and later about the finance aspect (what if she passes away) at dinner. pay attention lol. no need for "guessing" then. the reason is so blantantly stated can't do a thing if ppl opt to be blind.

the feelings so far are more or less platonic (or she hasn't realised yet) from her side, but you can clearly see the difference in the way she treats both the guys since childhood. she obviously doesn't consider the ml a sibling the way she does haejun. neither were they brought up that way. like she was sulking he had a gf wdym! anyway each to their own.

that was for her to stop the bullying and the neighbour talk, and address what family means in real. you don't need to be siblings or related or legally bound to be a real family. you can be friends, neighbours, strangers but can become a family that's the point. she wanted the dad to adopt the other dad so the names can be same officially lol so the financial benefits falls to all of them as well, and because she thought she needed a legal validation for her unusual family situation. see this was addressed in the first two episodes and was to clearly set the tone. she clearly understands and mentions later in ep2 that she was wrong and they don't need a legal document to be family. and reg romance she clearly doesn't consider the ML the way she considers the SML. they aren't siblings, so there's nothing to ignore. kdrama has tried to remove the incestual vibes the og has. but each to their own. everybody has diff povs.

this is not go ahead they have made a lot of changes already, they don't consider eachother siblings and they don't live together. they don't consider each other's dad their dad unlike in the og. i would say give it a try until ep4 the recent one, since one episode isn't enough to judge. the last two episodes were really emotional and amazing, especially if you are into family dramas. acting is great too. it's a story worth watching for the found family - whether cdrama or kdrama.

finally watched ep16! they really said it's the final ep let's fit the ppls in 😂

the final ep turned out quite underwhelming. enjoyed mostly upto ep15 but the final ep just was dragging away without saying a whole lot. i didn't even want a wedding to be honest, but that just felt like bait to viewers who were expecting one specially with the preview on ep15.

yup they moved to haedong town from seoul when juwon's mom died. the lady who setup the blind date mentioned this is in first episode when she was talking about sanha's parents to juwon's dad.

kim hye eun is really killing it as sanha's mother. i feel sick and pissed at her when I see her on screen 😭

tbh ML's feelings are obvious from the get go. he even addresses it firmly that they aren't a family. he lives with his dad separately and sanha & juwon give me more childhood friends/neighborhood family close friends than say sanha-haejun or juwon-haejun. the drama is pretty clear on the dynamics. but try it and make your own decision ig. the bond between the three of them and among each duo is really heartwarming.

I'll protect juwon with all my might. cutest, sweetest ray of sunshine. she is assertive, extremely loyal to her fam, so incredibly tuned to sanha's moods, and look at the way she cheered up haejun both times - one with the icecream and one with the theatre play at the rooftop! juwon best girl ❤️

it's doing great in Korea. probably will cross double digits this week, and it's just the second week of airing!

Ep4 nothing prepared me for that emotional rollercoaster. nothing. my heart hurts but it's still one of the best episodes of a kdrama i have watched.
