why do I feel like I have found a new favourite drama?! 🥺 and also maybe a new fav actor cuz wow Hyun wook steals the screen! and gee does he have some chemistry with all the other leads! and I love the bromance between eun gyeol and yi chan.
Hi I would recommend you read the webtoon. It's really good, and short as well.
But anyway Webtoon Ending goes like Eun Ahyi doing a part time job as a magician (like in the drama) but it also shows similar ending for ildeung. He finishes school too, and the ending scene is him messaging Ahyi for a dinner after work (she says yes! and it's Christmas!), then he also performs a little magic trick for a little kid he meets on the road. Very beautiful parallel scenes those.
idk how to objectively rate this drama lol. but it was darn fun and entertaining lol! with a sprinkle of everything along with a great cast and memorable characters. though the drama often parses phases of 'it was too bad it's good'. also ofcourse, a tidy amount of older kdrama toxic, controlling characters too, for good measure - it's a classic!
the more I rewatch, the more I feel how easy and better it would have been to just adapt the webtoon storyline, while making it better with the changes and comedy that the drama brought. would have been the easiest thing in the world! but oh well.

jeez first part was so good and made you attached to the characters. heck even the first two episodes were okay, then it's just completely went off rails like lmao. budget issues or whatever but why was the other commander not even mentioned once?!
Don't waste your time. investing time and emotions on characters that the writers themselves forgot to care about.
