a really cute and fun drama!! loved the main leads. you can't tell me se jeong and seol in ah aren't best friends in real life because they were very convincing here 😂
also feel like the tone of the drama switched about half way through. more rom (no complaints!) and drama than "com". like even the characters felt a bit different from the initial episodes, especially the main leads, though they did try tit bring it back here and there. overall a really uncomplicated, fun watch
omg what an AMAZING drama!! so so underrated! why haven't more people watched this pls?! the plot, the acting, characters, heck even the coloring and setting of the drama - just perfect. the friendship and parental relationships are the best parts of the drama imo. expect tears throughout; alternating between that of sadness and happiness. the acting is faultless. it's raw, heartbreaking yet heartwarming, bittersweet yet beautiful. it's perfect.
the sword fights are so good!! great choreography and direction
first two episodes in and I have really enjoyed both. good mix of mystery, politics and humour. the color grading matches the moods well haha. i love the FL already. Shin ey eun is an effortlessly talented actress. Lee Seol is the big mystery.
I think she is a decent person, when she isn’t completely stressed out by her mom and the competitiveness.
yes but we got to see none of that. she just had development offscreen. him being a good friend to her during her problems would have been nice to see.
now to complain, once again kdrama writers, a happy ending doesn't necessarily mean pairing up everyone and glossing over all the problems with a neat little time skip where everyone's new and good and rays of sunshine. it makes it a tinge unsatisfactory. geon hu didn't necessarily have to be paired to give him a happy ending for instance. best part of it all was CCY & NHS relationship and scenes. they were my happy pill❤️
OMG MY PARENTS ARE GETTING MARRIED 😭🥺❤️ I love them so much. no matter the minor faults of the drama, CCY and NHS made us happy every weekend. they are a joy. what a cute ending!
also where tf did the detectives disappear to? one call to CCY and that's it? why did we get so many episodes of them investigating it and putting the pieces together, the chief remembering his face, flashbacks to the old case ALL OF THAT, if the only use you found for them in the end was to make a call to ccy to inform him something he already knew? unbelievable.
