wow, i cant believed mdl has a toxic environment against the fl. i dont see any negative comments in dramacool…
none even on twitter lol imagine that. mdl must have a crazy demographic of young and immature users is what I observe. half the time, there is no nuance to opinions and discussions.
I'm so glad we are over our great misunderstanding. It broke my heart to see our leads in pain. NHS crying to Youngjoo 🥺 the actors do such an amazing job that the emotions feel incredibly real
but why tho? it's a musical, and that's not an exclusive South asian thing. Lala land is a popular Hollywood musical…
oh no, absolutely not. we all have different tastes and likes. I was simply curious regarding the musical part. I can totally understand your reasoning. thanks for explaining 😊
It makes no sense to me that the mom's were fine when they thought Chi Yeol had been seduced by a married woman…
yep, just goes on to her show their inherent bias and entitlement doesn't it? rich man sleeping with a married women - eccentric taste but ok. him having feelings for the said women, who they consider beneath them - oh blasphemy!
I also think the reactions had to do with the scandal being an online gossip/rumour vs him admitting it publicly - which makes it a fact and impossible to be written off or glossed over.
It's different, with the first he could claim it was a lie and even prove it, but the second was a bit more difficult…
that rumour was baseless and didn't hold because it was posted by a known troll & hater id (the now deceased teacher). on the other hand, the scandal was spread by a popular and trusted influencer (as they call them) Sua's mom, on a parental social media. clearly there is a difference, and contrived cctv footage as evidence. but yeah, goes on to show their inherent bias.
I think the same, I think she loves her and appreciates her as her real mother, but at the same time the writers…
haeyi knows. she knew how much NHS struggled in life, to take care of her & Jaewoo, and gave up everything for them. that's why she had never rebelled or even asked for a private tuition(until ep1), or even chocolates ( ref in ep2) or anything more because she didn't even want to put any extra burden on her mom/aunt. even with CCY, she was blaming herself as the reason for whatever happened. but she has that trauma from being known as an abandoned child from the past, so this is also her personal journey to move on and grow.
Also I don't think it's about her accepting NHS as her mom or not. She deliberately calls her aunt to put some kind of distance, beause she feels guilty that all of NHS's problems comes from being her eomma. She had to give up her career for haeyi, and now almost CCY too. Too much self blaming there for a kid to handle.
Haeyi-aaa my girl!! You rock!! you deserve every bit of happiness and love ❤️ I just wanted to give her a hug everytime she called nhs imo because she felt guilty. and then she fearlessly confessed the truth, despite being afraid of the consequences. best daughter. I hope she knows she isn't a burden to her eomma at all.
ahhhh the confession scene!! I love them so much 🥺 CCY's tenderness in the car, taking care of NHS, and their emotional goodbye, then his confession in public to defend her and protect her. pls get together already you two!!
I love the actors but the plot is too over the top and the moms too ridiculous for me. The killings, the crazy…
imo, none of those things - together or otherwise seem that unbelievable when seen in context. yes maybe the shooter & killing part sure. but the bullies, the entitled moms, crazy education and competition, the popular teacher - are all very real & believable. especially in relation to SK. but each to their own, ofcourse.
Were we actually in love? Or were we blinded by the interest?
What a beautiful, beautiful show. The last episode had me noting down what are some of the best quotes in a drama. The acting, cinematography, OST - all of it hit the perfect spot for me. It's so beautifully shot & enacted, was perfect to cozy up and watch every week. I'll miss the characters and the meaningful discussions we had.
The ending was perfect imo. It fit the tone of the show, and the story. 10/10 would recommend if you are into slow, mature, character studies. Nothing much happens storywise, just humans living their nondramatic life, yet making those dramatic decisions that has us thinking years later.
~What have you forgotten? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Yes I don’t understand why they feel so privileged to have the special treatment
Yeah I get why they feel so entitled. Pure selfish nature to want everything for themselves, and control every variable - even a person because I pay for it and my child should have it all. But what actually pisses me off is they know he isn't teaching a random student for whatever contorted reason. Hae-e rightfully earned her place in the program, and these moms know it cuz they are the ones who kicked her out. it's just evil when they don't even feel an ounce of guilt for having done that to a kid, and THEN try to control a tutor's private life too. The entitlement is appalling right?
If the killer is taking out all the problematic people for CCY, it is more harmful for CCY than helpful because…
This! Mr Ji knows how much his ex student's death affected CCY, and how his mental and physical health hasn't been that great. so if he (acc to some theories) is the killer, he seems to be doing the opposite of protecting him tbh.
but again, I can't really imagine anyone else knowing all the info and who troubles him, except mr ji either.
omg the preview! what on earth is wrong these moms?! his life, his decision. why do you care?! you kicked out haeyi from her deserved spot and now you want to control CCY too? Get fckd.

That kiss was so good. I love our leads so much. They are so tender and caring around eachother it's beautiful.
