Even if its PR, its a smart move. I am proud of her for fighting. Businesses are all about profit and if someone is helping them make more of that, its a win win.

But I mean regardless if it was completely genuine or not, she did a favor to those struggling business and she get a better image - like many celebrities that do charity work. It's a win-win for both side. And with her recent news, she will probably need public opinion on her side. Maybe I'm too cynical but regardless I cannot blame her and hope she will win her fight.

When I clicked on the link, I was expecting something grey to come out. Like there was catch. But nope. She found out that just showing what she loves locally, is how to get back to the horrible agency. She really is a good person at heart. Hope she is cherished and gets away from the hell hole she is currently in.

I'm also not buying scheduling conflict thing because season 2 was announced long ago before her new projects. Flex X Cop was her first project as female lead and I think now after getting so many projects her fee would've increased way more then season 1.
And this is why (1) if you have mommy or daddy (or any). issues you should go to therapy instead of dumping your trauma on others, (2) society should stop obsessing over parenthood/motherhood and blood and stop normalizing the abuse that this mentally has caused on kids and women mainly, (3) and people should stop pretending women aren't people and that giving birth automatically makes you a mom/being maternal is natural.
