I surprisingly liked it. it’s not perfect but overall enjoyable. no real angst or significant ups and downs. I didn’t mind that. TJC as LYF also worked for me. that made up a large part of the experience and his relationship with dad was fun to watch.

been a while since im this obsessed with a romcom. every aspect of both main characters are really wnll written, their encounter, personality, flaw, dynamic, progression. character development are so natural and most importantly the slowburn is just perfect. im always a sucker for good slowburn.
though it has a few glaring issun but imo its merely a distraction not worth complaining about. a few fl and ml antic easily outweight it.
and lastly, i rarely have comment on the acting but both main characters wouldnt be as fun if played by others, especially the ml. top tier shenanigans. a perfect actor would save a shit script but a good actor can elevate a well written script.
