Is it forbidden in K-dramas , especially rom-coms for the ML to have an ex and be normal rich man even if he doesn't…
Lol, wdym? The main audience for these dramas are women. And these classic plots allow them to vicariously live a fantasy of having a loving, rich, handsome Prince Charming, instead of broke, toxic, petty, crypto scam addicted goblins they they meet irl dime a dozen. And toxic exes are usually put in dramas for another purpose as well - to show how good ML or FL are compared to them. And also, for the sake of drama. Comments here seem to be very positive, so the tropes work. Also, actors have good chemistry.
Is it forbidden in K-dramas , especially rom-coms for the ML to have an ex and be normal rich man even if he doesn't dating !? Why does the FL always have exes, usually toxic ones, and she was making more effort in the relationship , and the ML has to fight the ex and sometimes get jealous if fl friends with him ? And why do we always get the selfish, evil family who treats the FL (ml) like she isn’t even part of the family!?
Why are rom-coms always the same tropes with different actors? Same storyline every time: meet → fake dating → real dating → breakup/get back together. ML falls first and harder, while the FL has no boundaries with her ex !!!
Poor FL and rich ML… now it’s become as common as humans breathing oxygen lol.
Ji U went on to marry someone else? Ludicrous. She doesn't deserve him. Gyeong Do, find someone who really cares…
Life happens. Not everyone marries their first love. Sometimes marriages don’t work out. Not a minute of this drama has aired yet. We don’t even know the story but you’re already taking Park Seo-Joon’s side.🤣🤣🤣
Her surname is Hwang not Hwangbo so the correct writing of her name is Hwang Bo Reum Byeol. Her name is Bo Reum Byeol, not Reum Byeol. It's three syllables, which rare case but they are exist and have meaning. Reum Byeol is not existing

Is this male focused drama ? For novel reader , does it have happy ending ?I just want to make sure that I won't…
The original work wasn’t. It was a heroine focused novel though a newer 3rd person perspective version has been released. But the drama should be quite different from the novel plot according to rumours but it was said to be an improvement over the source material. I don’t know what route the show is taking or the ending but if it follows the book, Cangcang will be an interesting character because despite her imperfections, she’s proactive and sincere. If you’re talking about Blood River, then no it shouldn’t be like that. Mu Yumo didn’t have many scenes in the source material but Love and Crown should be different because the book was from Cangcang’s perspective.
Sure, this show is entertaining. Just that... cliche filled entertainment. One thing I really dislike is badly written FLs. We are to believe this girl is an entrepreneur, independent, and brilliant, but making a decision so bizarre just to dodge a difficult period in her life just does not add up. Not divorcing, leveraging a broken marriage, and hiring a temp husband—like c'mon girl, you should have known better. She gets her way in every situation, and when she's confronted....we as audience are to somehow pulled into a narrative that she is just poor girl who was in trouble and had to make a desperate decision. (I mean...the world would be in a bad shape if all of us made 'desperate choices' just because of the shit life throws at us!) Time to call her out for what she truly is—a SCAMMER, not some flag-bearer of innocence. I have nothing to say about the ML, poor man is blind in love. I am actually here for the second lead couple (they're alright)
Really thought this would be like business proposal where the second leads would get a decent amount of screentime out of being plot devices for the main leads but unfortunately, they are just plot devices. Such a shame that the screentime is wasted on the toxic and abusive ex and his shenanigans when there could be more focus on the second leads. Anyway I hope they get a happy ending. It will suck if they don’t end up together because the potential is there and it’s beautiful, but if they don’t, oh well. I can just rewatch their 5 mins of screentime each ep aka the microscopic crumbs 🫠
i feel like after your ex boyfriend of five years cheated on you, there should be some sort of residual, I don't know if the word trauma is too heavy for this, but it should be hard for you to get into a relationship with someone else. Trust and security should not have come so easily to her. He told her about his feelings and all she could think about was money, instead of considering whether she's ready to give her heart to someone else soon. Sure, the ML is a great guy, but I pretty sure her ex was acting like a great guy too when they were together. that sort of experience stays with you and affects your future relationships. I know the show and characters are shallow, but the fact that she's just fine and ready to fall in love again is one of the most unrealistic things about this show.

Very natural
Not dumb rumors and gossip, and calling them "scandal" too! 🤦♀️
