FOOD for thought Comparing the two LuSi collabs with this same editor in Love's Ambition and previously, Dating In The Kitchen:
1) LA moves from angst to romcom AND DITK moves from romcom to some angst 2) Both have older MLs because they were experienced CEOs 3) Both have ML who were calculating and went about catching the FL's deception (in the DITK drama, it was all very funny while in LA it was very tense and angsty) 4) The seduction parts were funny. Well, LuSi's comic timing has always been amazing, so no surprise here. But you can see the ML's chase of his girl was hilarious and silly, just like Hao Ming in LA. Here is a grown man, resorting to immature antics because all his life, he'd been just the CEO son to his mother's expectations. Compared that to Hao Ming's inability to express his love. 4) The FLs' natural talents and their struggles to get recognized in their respective fields because favoritism/nepotism/connections, etc. 5) LuSi was quite young in the first collab so it wasn't as sexy as her more mature character in LA. Still, both MLs were established stars in their own right and worked very well with LuSi. 6) You can see the Director's stamp in both dramas--the funny scenes were unique and the more serious scenes were layered with emotion.
Here’s a thought — why don't you go to the actual page of that person you don't like and do your screaming there instead of targeting the innocent, which are the main cast and crew of this drama? Misplaced anger doesn’t make you righteous; it just makes you complicit. At that point, you’re no different than a bully— spreading hate, generalizing without facts, and fueling propaganda under the guise of justice.
Go do this to your fan shi qi’s main drama as lead role… don’t do this to lusi and william’s drama.. otherwise you’re also an abuser… how dare you abuse lusi

We also want justice for YML but sabotaging Lusi over a bad guy cameo that was filmed before the unfortunate event, is just another circle of abuse towards other hardworking innocent casts and crew of this show. Just started watching. Now I know why ZLS 's face is much smaller most of the time , not chubby and round. Because She has lost so so much weight and using contour makeup. No surgery.
In this dram, when she was in a school uniform and had no makeup , her round face was there, smaller but still round. I always like her cute chubby face, and it make me smile when she smiles.
I hope she does not loose more weight.
I like her role here. This drama has a good script.
I was thinking why see looks so different, then noticed that she loses so much weight , I'm not body-shaming , just concerned bout her health hope she's okay ... she's one of my fav actresses

Li Qin (Lin Waner) has not been officially announced yet, and the schedule is being coordinated.
Ye Linger (formerly played by Jin Chen) may change roles due to the schedule conflict, and the second prince (Liu Duanduan) is doubtful about his return.
Child star Li Luoyu (Xiao Fan Xian) has grown up too fast, and the role matching is yet to be evaluated.
Production progress
Current stage: The script is being jointly polished by Wang Yan and Jin Haishu ("The Wind Rises from Longxi"), and it is expected to be launched in the second half of 2025.
Shooting cycle: about 1-2 years, aiming to broadcast at the end of 2026 or the summer of 2027.
I just came here to share how pretty darn lucky I feel, to have just recently watched the 1st season, so I could continue straight to the second one and didn't have to wait 4 yrs for it like many other fans. This series is frickin' brilliant, such a fun ride. Finished S2 a week ago and still can't move on.
