Ms. Zhu Zhu is so dayam fine at 41. With your acting skills, face and dimples, I look forward to seeing new work for 30 more years. I'm catching up now.
am i missing something here, please help.me understand... Spoler below:
why on the case from around ep 30 i felt the importance around the gentry was a bit too much? like historically speaking makes sense, however, their death sentence has been given too much screen time and it looked like they werent criminals rightfully deserving punishment... instead the music was very sentimental, they were showing flashbacks of moments of those criminals with their family... i donno... i think i have missed something here.. can anyone help me to understand why their punishment has been filmed like i should have felt pity for them? they were criminals, right? ... i am so co fused...

I love this casting, always a joy to see Oh Yeon-seo in anything! But most of all I love that they cast an age-appropriate ML that can believably play the role of a ceo

Heavy Sigh. Another fictional man to simp over. Who also happens to be tall. And has a nice voice. And smile. Life definitely is unfair, sometimes. Heavier sigh.
Episode 3: A Romantic Fantasy That Mistakes Emotional Dependence for Love
This drama pretends to be a mature second-chance romance, but ultimately reveals itself as an emotional fantasy. The story repeatedly frames the male lead as someone who must wait, suffer, and remain available no matter how many times he is abandoned. Instead of exploring growth or consequences, the narrative romanticizes emotional stagnation and dependency, turning nostalgia into a substitute for real development. What could have been an adult story about letting go becomes a recycled fantasy where love means putting your life on pause. The premise is promising, but the execution is fundamentally flawed.
Amelie is a beautiful and very talented actress. it is nice to watch her. She does remind me of Korean Ha Ji-won. I look forward to some good roles in future.
K drama fans acting clueless. We clearly see Ji Hyeokâs perspective, she doesnât even know he likes her. Sheâs juggling debt, and her first stable job in years. Iâm sorry but people who can feel sad for Ji Hyeokâs pain yet make no effort to understand why Darim had to lie or empathize with what sheâs going through are just literal guy worshippers. and it actually makes me happy that i donât share the same mindset as them, Itâs the same misogynistic pattern all over again, just like in My Dearest I remember when watching they would criticize GilChae lack of selfless love for male lead, but GC had other responsabilities to fulfill. same here! This is a rom-com Jeez...they will be forever happy and have triplets of their own.
i haven't come to the comment section ever since, because i already knew exactly what would be going on here. all i can say is some of yall - women especially - aren't beating the "carry me wholesale" (pick me) allegations. itâs actually despicable to witness. when you think about it, it's not just about a brainless romcom anymore. itâs rooted in something i believe we're all very aware of.
the way some of you blindly nitpick her character while conveniently forgetting she's literally the reason the plot exists? embarrassing!! the producers, writers, everyone involved didn't give us that glimpse of her tough life at the beginning of the show for decoration. you don't even have to watch more of her perspective to understand. is it difficult to watch? yeah. but to still blame her after seeing the very foundation of her story? really?
and honestly, it's a pattern. female characters have been suffering in the hands of writers, producers, and viewers since the 1800s and beyond. i still remember how you all dragged gil chae in my dearest. i will never forgive mdl viewers for that. it was a heart sore to witness. some of you are even dragging the sfl for being "too" forward. lmaooo. when are we actually going to heal?
i'm posting this because i'm filled with rage. i tried to avoid the anger until wednesday, but i couldn't.
Sometimes people just seek a Comfort drama.
