Okay great. Just the post I was looking for. I'm trying to decide if I want to watch this but the reviews above…
If I remember correctly, this show was very “watchable”for me. It was neither “enjoyable” nor a “turnoff for me.” I hope that makes sense. I did enjoy the nostalgia of this tv series though. I’m getting back into older series. I would watch this with a constant reminder that this is an old school series with old school writing (it seems that you are already anticipating it though)
I think the main leads don’t get together till the last few episodes. I may be wrong though. It’s been some time since I’ve watched this. I hope this helps.
Ep. 5 I was getting annoyed at Gil chase for yelling at jang hung because her crush(yeon jung) got hurt in the battle. Especially knowing that jh was protecting YJ during the battle. I kinda wished jang hung kept walking away from her but it didn’t happen. Oh well, I still like this drama though.
Also Gil chae is growing on me, her character Developement is really good.
I’ve never been so pissed off about a tv series in my life, until I saw this one.
I was hoping that the guy would dump the girl. But nope they wrote him as a simp. After the things he witnessed her doing with her ex, he still forgave her and asked her to marry.
Why would you watch your girlfriend hang out with her ex, watch her sleep on his shoulder, listen to her tell him “she missed him” and then forgive her and ask her to marry you. I really don’t care if that’s her first love and she needed closure. Screw her. Go find someone better and someone who had enough closure from their previous relationship.
What made it more annoying for me is that everyone did a good job. The actors were good, the graphics were good enough, the flow of the story was good, it wasn’t long (hence, miniseries) everyone did a good job for a ridiculous story.
And to top it off, most viewers thought this was romantic and sweet. What?? Why?? But everyone has their own views, so whatever.
Yeah but I don't like Ji Min. I like Pu Reum.Previous season, we were introduced to Pu Reum. So that we liked…
Cool! I don’t share the same view as you. I don’t like Pu reum and I like ji min. In the beginning, I was actually hoping pu reum would reciprocate Ha neuls feelings but since the writers didn’t make that happen, the least they could’ve done, for Ha neuls sake, was pull him out of that one sided love; and that’s exactly what Ji min did for him. Also, the way pu reum was making light of Ha neuls feelings were annoying me. She obviously didn’t mean it but it was still irritating because we, the viewers, knew his actual feelings for her, while she made light of them.
There are many dramas about husband being a cheater instead of the wife though…for example The Fierce Wife (Taiwanese…
I really don’t know if “all infidelity dramas” have that plot where the wife cheats due to oppression or abuse from the husband but the ones I’ve ,personally, seen so far have that.
And yes, this drama is the first, that I’ve seen, where that plot is portrayed by the husband instead.
I personally don’t like “infidelity plots”(I’ll watch it but I probably won’t like it) but It is thought provoking, though.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. “The fierce wife” will be on my watch list. I know there are many dramas featuring cheating husbands and I think I’ve seen a decent amount of it but this particular drama was the first, so far, where the cheating male character is written like a cheating female lead. It’s sounds weird but I’ll explain. 😂 In the dramas, “my mister” and “my wife is cheating on my this week” the wives basically have a pathetic marriage and/or family life. Because of this they make the decision to sleep with another guy. (There’s a bunch of Asian dramas with similar plots but I can’t remember the titles)
To me, if I’m correct, the husband in this drama was written the same way. If I remember correctly, his wife was the controlling type, which he despised or something like that and that started his decision to cheat. Not saying that any of these people are justified because of there pathetic marriages, it was just interesting to see an unfaithful male character written the same way as some of the unfaithful female characters. There are probably dramas like this out there, I just haven’t seen them yet.

keep looking.
Good try though.

“Badjob12” 😂 😂 That was a good one.
But I’ll mark it as spoiler as soon as you tell the person below that made same comment as me, to do likewise.
