Rant: They made the ML chase and get rejected by the FL like 4-5 times and at the end he was the one that made the initiative to get together with the FL again. This was “romantically off balanced” in my eyes. It was just annoying seeing the ML get his heartbroken by the FL and then still trying to chase her. At the end it felt like he made most of the effort getting together and also within their relationship. The funny thing though is that I fell in love with the FL. lol. I just think they did the ML wrong. I wished he left the FL after like the 2nd rejection.

Right?! Sadly, Xu lu’s character development isnt there, I’m curious, though, to see if or how she develops in 4 episodes? I was and still am rooting for ZDW as well.

I totally agree. thats the reason why I stay away from most western shows/movies. Oversexulaized shows and politics are big turn offs for me in shows/movies.
I think I like the Korean version better. The writers made the ML to soft during the “break up” (it really wasn’t ) episodes. He was still “chasing” after her even if was suppose to leave and wait for to reciprocate his love, like the original version.
