Rant: towards the end, I feel the FL didnt deserve the ML. I was hoping theyd make her work hard to deserve him, like he did to her, but of course Chinese drama wouldn’t do that When she felt like divorcing they had to do it and when she felt like remarrying they had to do it. I think I would’ve liked it more if 1) she became worthy enough to deserve him or 2) he found another wife

To be honest I don’t remember the details anymore, since it’s been a long time but along with those bad qualities, I’m sure he had good qualities as well. And it seems like the FL fell for those good qualities, over time.
What I don’t like is that the writer made him chase and get rejected multiple times. I would’ve personally preferred that they either balance the “chase and reject” trope amongst both leads or, at least, limit the amount

I love how Gil chae longs and cares for jang hyun. Like when she was willing to leave or stay for him. Also the previews, showing her regretting letting him go and staying back to help him recover. Nice-uu. 👌. He totally deserves it.
Even though I love janice wu, from the middle to end of the drama, I was hoping the ML would give up on her character or at least threaten to “give up on her”
And also the second couple. My goodness, could the writers not have made the girl work for to get back with the guy? I felt bad for him, I was hoping he would just leave her. That was annoying.
