Unfortunately it seems the worse reality is, the intensity of entertainment must be dialed up to keep pace. “Man… my life sucks! But, hey! At least I’m not on a ship full of psychopaths trying to kill each other.”

I’ve been trying to watch it but I can’t seem to get past the normalization of smoking and vaping for 20-somethings. I’ve lost family from COPD & lung cancer so I have little respect for portrayals of the habit. Especially among younger generations that should know better.

I gave it an extra point just for Kim Min Seok’s acting.

Oh… I give you many kudos, gold stars for watching the sequels.

It’s been 3 yrs since I watched this and I still can’t get rid of the creepy feeling.

Composers are the unsung masters of k-dramas. They really set the tone. I’m happy to see that MDL is recognizing them. Happy birthday to this guy!

Don’t think of the actors age. In part one JYJ is described as having good genes. For him to have finished his military service then completed his internship, he would essentially be 34 or 35. MDE is also described as having spent 15+ yrs on her quest. So being 17 yrs old at the time she left school + 15 yrs puts her character closer to the Doctors. He just has youthful looks.

Yes the music. I became a fan of Elaine Kim after watching this.

I was thinking that as well. I believe the law is based on 30 yrs old in Korean age. If Korea does adopt the international age as standard, that should buy him an extra year.
He seems very busy this year. I think he may be stacking up roles before he does enlist.

This was the whole reason I started watching K-Dramas.

I watched the series. Got curious and read the webtoon. Watched the series again. What some may not realize is that this series is actually a flashback in the original story line. The second season will most likely cover the ML’s friendship with “Big Ben” and his pending battle with “Donald Na” (referenced in the last minute of the last episode). I suspect season 2 will be much more violent.

It would’ve been nice to see Kim Da Mi be able to join them. I think the cast members respected the director so much that they rearranged their schedules. I think they were talking about that in the first ep.

This show was only possible because all 3 casts worked with the same director.
