I’ve got a question… Viki has an interview with actor Do Yu who is supposed to play one of Go Young’s friends. Who is he and why is he not listed in the credits? In fact, he isn’t even listed on MDL.

Keep in mind this show’s setting starts around 2012-2016. HIV support meds have been around for 20+ years but there was still a risk of transmission. It was only in the last 10 yrs that both Prep and anti-retrovirals hit the US market reducing the risk down to 1%.

I would describe the ending as a “catharsis” for Young. He finally becomes comfortable with who he is.

I’m someone who needs subtitles. Viki wins hands down over Netflix in that dept.

Considering the all-star line up, this was one expensive commercial.

Especially following SWDBS.

What perplexes me is the reviewers (I’m talking about you Rafaelagrassi) post opinions claiming they have watched all 16 episodes when episode 13 hasn’t even aired. I didn’t know MDL allowed that.

I haven’t watched it but it looks like Brazilians have issues with this show and are trying to tank its ratings before it finishes its run. Is there something in the story that is sensitive?

If she was in “The Handmaiden” why isn’t she credited?

I wasn’t aware of any of his work was on Viki. Most of his work has been with Netflix (Hellbound, Alive, Burning, Seoul Vibe.)

I agree. PHS only seems to be cast in cushy romantic roles. Im Si Wan (another Z-EA member) has far bigger range of roles under his belt.

“Sky Castle”, “Nevertheless” & “Snowdrop” BGM made a very big fan of Choe Jeong In as a composer. Also, IOTBNO made me a fan of Elaine Kim.
A good OST and BGM can really drive a good or slightly less than good drama.

Soooo… Korean cancel culture also includes children of bad actors? How many generations and degrees of separation does someone have to be in order to get a fair break?

The OST is available on Spotify. I listen to it often.

But PHS has his own personal wealth. Acting is more of a hobby and has mentioned he is picky. Just because he isn’t churning out 6 dramas a year like Song Kang doesn’t mean he has disappeared. As for Song Hye Kyo, she was dragged pretty harshly following her divorce so she only pick good scripts and works with quality productions.
