So episode 26 have no FL appearance at all. Those that complained that ML is missing in episode 25 are you satisfied now? Fair now?

Nah this is very mild. I have seen worst before. I have dramas where the ML is basically gone for many episodes instead of just 1 of 2 so this is fine to me.

That’s his role in the drama. Helpful bystander haha.

Also I didn’t mean Shen Ming being an idiot in a bad way. I’m saying he’s simple minded so those things about reputation or dignity does not matter to him. I’m guessing English is not your first language?

It’s not about being virgin or not. It’s about their reputation being tainted because they were raped. You have to understand that reputation and dignity is very important during that era and being raped is a death sentence to women since they most of the time can no longer get married to good families or those there are married would no longer be treated kindly by their husbands. Shen Ming was a bandit at the time so of course he wouldn’t care about virginity since there was no expectation of him getting married like normal in the first place.

You can’t compare modern era and historical era. In episode 21 Shen Ming even said to Yi Ru that she couldn’t go back anymore regardless whether did anyone touch her or not since it’s assumed that she would no longer be pure since she’s captured by bandits who would do despicable things.

It’s an FL focused drama so it’s natural that the ML will not have as much screen time. Just be patient. He will return soon.

Haha yup. I’m sure there will reach a point where Ye Yun will say she won’t be able to marry anymore since she’s no longer pure and Shen Ming being the idiot that he is will say if no one will marry you then I will or something like that very earnestly. An overused trope in cdrama but I like it haha.

There is no actual rivals but more like flies around the FL. First there's the white scholar, then the crafty merchant and now the kidnapper that kidnapped the FL. All of them pose no threat and the ML trust the FL too but I'm sure he cant help to have some doubts in his heart if it's a real life situation. Not in drama world though i guess haha.

Virtually none on ML's side but on the FL's side there seems to be a growing number from past and present. If I was the ML I would feel a bit insecure by now considering they still haven't consummate until now. Luckily I am not the ML haha.

Just noticed Liu Yuning is one of the OST singers for this drama. Damn I thought my boy is only active being the OST singer for wetv but I guess he's active for iQiyi as well. My boy is really busy these day.

They had to move else they would be killed. It doesn't matter whether they gave away their fortune or not because they were not hunted due to their wealth but due to a grudge. And if they somehow made it out alive if they didn't move then do you think their lives will be good in the future? Do you know what happens when the rich fall? They get trampled by all their enemies and the common people. At least when they gave away their wealth in the new place they were relatively unknown and barely had any reputation so nothing would happen to them except being poor.

No one can answer that because her being alive is a deviation from the novel. My guess is she will die but then again if the FL's mother is still alive they might have her redeem herself then exile her off with her daughters somewhere as punishment. I don't think they will have her daughters raped as well since there's already two rapes occurring in the drama and that is already one too many times in my opinion.

it's actually subbed to episode 25 now but seems they uploaded episode 24 as 25 instead so will have to wait for them to fix it. It's very funny now episode 24 but using episode 25 subs haha

A rumor is a rumor. With the speed of the internet it will spread like wildfire even if it’s fake or unverified. Also wetv have subbed up until 22 episodes last I check and I m sure they will sub the remaining 3. It doesn’t make sense to not do it since they have already paid for the broadcasting rights and wetv is not for china audiences anyway. He will be fine. This isn’t such a big deal like tax evading or cheating or openly supporting Japan or Taiwan or HK or something. He’ll be fine in the long run hopefully.

It’s supposed to be overseas and since the train was moving already when the ML appeared, it’s implied that the more important job that he mentioned he was assigned to earlier to the FL was to follow her and accompany her during her studies.

Subs for 19 and 20 is out today so I guess the remaining 4 should be out in the next 2 days with the last episode being released next week. Or maybe since only one episode remaining wetv will release it this week too who knows.

Well considering that she is a heavy smoker I would imagine she would at least need to regularly go for teeth whitening procedures.
