This is one of those dramas that really surprises you. Engaging, suspense filled and true to its Wuxia genre. I love it so far. Good to also see Liang Jie as a strong heroine and in non-comedic show. I like this part of her too b
4 episodes in and I can’t wait for next episodes. The story is filled with suspense and mystery so far and I can’t wait to find out how it will unfold.
As someone with a relative on the spectrum, I really enjoyed this drama. I could see some similarities between the main lead and my relative. This drama made my laugh, cry and elicited other emotions. Kudos to the actors and producers, great work.

My 2 cents on the express episodes. Some novel readers felt disappointed with the absence of some emotional parts…
I agree. Moreover it’s a natural reaction to cherish and appreciate something more when you think you have lost it and it comes back. It wakes you up from all the things that were distracting you. So, I don’t think she was forced to forgive him, I think once she thought she had lost him forever, she realised that she loved him still and wanted to be with him. She had already forgiven him
I have finished this beautiful drama! What a drama! The characters were very consistent in who they were and I love how they still had growth, while still being who they are. One of the best I have seen so far. Wu Lei’s acting definitely improved once the drama progressed. He became less stiff. I particularly loved the the chemistry between the characters too (not just the main couple). A solid 9/10 for me! Kudos to the Director for bringing out the good in the actors and giving us such beautiful work of art.
PS: I would have loved a bit more happy ending moments, but compared to other C-dramas, this was tolerable and passable. I hope C-drama’s continue to work on their endings. They always have this issue of rushing things at the end of their dramas, even great dramas too.
Oh My! Director had me screaming, crying, laughing all within a few minutes. Episodes 47 & 48 were beautiful. I can’t wait for the rest. I can’t believe this is almost over. I won’t be able to get over it quickly. Gosh 😩
Yes!I really was wishing they could've had sex, and then just have to be "responsible" for each other forever…
To think they would be separating soon, 😠! I can’t bear the thought of it. The Director better make the reunion another masterpiece to make-up for the torture 😂
Ok, can we talk about that bedroom moment in Ep.38 🤭. The intimacy! so palpable. It transported me to different worlds 😆😆. Oh, this drama, how I love thee.
