Yes, I like her better in this type of role too. This was a good work for her to take on, it shows her acting range.

I actually do not think she’s okay with it. Her face was really sad as she was telling me he could go. She just couldn’t bear to tell him otherwise since she already left one husband for him. No going back now can as well stick it out.
My issue with her is that he knew all about Mia Ruofeng’s quest and revenge, he told her the whole truth before they were together.
However, the current husband doesn’t even tell her the truth or what he’s really up to. He only sees her as an object (refined lady according to him) to conquer and use it to kind of elevate his status. The second husband is about ego and getting ahead.

I think the second FL mentioned in the character list will be the grown up MRL. Since it’s a short story it will probably be included to this plot. I hope they tie everything properly. This is actually quite good so far b

I mean, it’s the way she wanted to transfer fatherhood to that guy that pissed me off. Even when Miao Ruofeng is alive. Girl, that’s not how it works. Of course I wish they could co-parent (no parent should be denied access to their child), but woman wanted to move on. She had fallen for a romantic man. But that man is just romantic, he is exactly like Miao Ruofeng (even worse, he covers his own by being romantic and saying all the right things).
See him leaving too just because of his scheming and ego, when she’s pregnant. Not because of a promise or honourable deed.

This is one of those dramas that really surprises you. Engaging, suspense filled and true to its Wuxia genre. I love it so far. Good to also see Liang Jie as a strong heroine and in non-comedic show. I like this part of her too b

4 episodes in and I can’t wait for next episodes. The story is filled with suspense and mystery so far and I can’t wait to find out how it will unfold.

This left a huge cliffhanger and then the next season’s tease, gosh! I can’t wait for December to see what happens next. Good series.

As someone with a relative on the spectrum, I really enjoyed this drama. I could see some similarities between the main lead and my relative. This drama made my laugh, cry and elicited other emotions. Kudos to the actors and producers, great work.
