Fang Xin not being able to cook seems a bit inconsistent with her allergies at first, but her overall characterization…
This is definitely another perspective. Thanks. Although it was implied they lived separately before getting married. So, I wondered how she fed herself then.
Just finished Ep.2 of this, OMG! there are really scumbags out there. Quick question though, why can't the character with all the allergies learn to cook? To me, that's a script flaw. How has she been surviving before she met her boyfriend-turned husband? I mean, every script must not have a damsel in distress Chinese dramaland!! I will keep watching as it is entertaining. But, it has reduced my rating.
The first episode was so good. So mature and funny!
Exactly. A fresh of breath air from Chinese dramaland that likes to portray their female characters as immature little kids/cutesy, even when they are older women in their late 20s and 30s. I love it already.
I finally finished the last two episodes. A strong 8.5/10 for me (because of some minor details, like Mei Shu speaking fluent Chinese, excessive use of flashbacks (like ordinary Chinese dramas often do-it pisses me off, and so many other little errors). However, enjoyed it very much and it tugged my heart strings A LOT!
This drama should have been 22 episodes long! Until ep 12 This was a 10 for me but now that I am at ep 20 my feeling…
I felt the same way too. It gets worse too. Flashbacks that are repeatedly drawn out, unnecessary dramatisation etc. you can see they were just trying to drag it for longer episodes. I initially thought it was a 26eps drama ( which is also too much), but a 30, is a drag. Otherwise it would have been a great drama instead of just a goo one b
1/3rd in and I am glad I picked this up. Avenuex’s recommendations are most times good. There have been a few I didn’t like though. This one is very touching.
I’m about to start this after kind of falling off from “My Treasure”. I was enjoying it initially, but left after an episode and didn’t have enough pull to come back to it.
I saw one episode of Min Ning Town and couldn't get into it. It looks more like a political drama than family...…
It’s not exactly political. More about development. Yes, attention wasn’t paid to eye candy. It’s a serious drama and was depicting hardship. Although I didn’t find the cast ugly. Just normal Chinese people look.

I hope this sucks me in.
