his appearance was cut and they didn't pay him (Yoon), Him (Dew) and Nail (Tor)...
We know this isn't the first BL company that didn't pay their actors or harassed a cast member. But every time it happens, nothing in the industry changes. And as long as there are powerful people promising these guys a chance at fame and fortune while there are no protections like a union or reputable managers, I know it will keep happening. Obviously, this isn't just a problem in BL, but it seems to happen A LOT in BL.
I absolutely love this series, but this episode broke my heart. I want hug every character (except the evil boss, he deserves lots of slaps) they all deserve so much better! The focus on real life problems that millions of people deal with everyday makes everything in the show seem more real and more tragic. Anyone who's ever worked a miserable office can understand the struggle those people are dealing with. And Kai being lonely day after day and left behind by everyone for his whole life is so sad 😢
I can't wait for the final episode. I wish we got more time with Hiro and Kai together, but I'll take any scraps of happiness I can get at this point.

Omg, that's sooooo awful. I'm beyond tired of these shady companies doing this series after series and never seeming to face any real repercussions. I feel terrible for all the actors 🤬.
I can't believe I'm doing this when there are only 3 episodes left, but I'm putting this on hold. It kinda feels like the writer was inspired by Thai BLs but in the worst way possible. Irritating music that never stops, product placement, two guys who get together because the script demands it, and side characters whose lives seem to completely revolve around the main characters. These days that rarely leads to a good Thai series and it's not working for me here either.
I also can't stand love triangles because someone always ends up alone. So far Mizuki is my favorite character and I couldn't be less interested in Soga. I get why a lot of people dislike Mizuki, but seeing the flashbacks with him and Sakae and seeing him try to be a better version of himself since he returned, makes me care about him. Yes he's pushy, but at least he's fighting for the man he loves, instead of having a blank stare in every scene and barely doing anything like Soga.
And maybe because I'm not familiar with the Tokyo/Osaka rivalry, even the humor is a miss for me. I might watch the last 3 episodes when it concludes or maybe I'll forget the show exists in a few hours 🤷♀️.
Glad MDL finally fixed the rating. I can see why people who liked I Will Knock You may like this, but it feels like there is an unlimited supply of below average Thai BLs with amateur directors/writers/actors and I don't have the energy to watch another one. With Japan, Taiwan and Korea consistently creating shows with unique premises, strong acting and competent people behind the camera, it feels more and more like Thailand is lagging behind and not trying to improve overall. That's not this show's fault, but there are many other things to watch.
Yet another pointless series with barely any script that should be required viewing for every sex obsessed BL "fan"! The people who are demanding epic kiss scenes and sex sex sex in every single series and giving a pass to any half assed attempt at a "plot" are the only ones some of these smaller companies are listening to.
This is not a series, this is random citizens plucked off the street, given a few lines of dialogue and repeat with the next group. There are more old people and kids than there are guys. I want to be mad, I want to hate this, but all I feel is pity for every person on camera. And with every long boring unsexy sex scene, I want to yell at people who think this crap is good for anyone's career. There have been WAY too many Thai BLs with barely any plot and an unlimited supply of sex scenes but the actors in those series almost never have careers after those series. Why are audiences who refuse to watch porn, sabotaging these guys careers just to get their rocks off for a few minutes per week!??!?! Y'all need to be better!
This is not good, without an acting coach or a competent writer, I know it won't get better.
I agree, these days too many BLs ignore the hardships gay people experience irl. I'm glad that was a focus in…
I'm not a man, but I'd rather watch series that deal with issues gay people actually face, than the typical simple modern day fairytale with a plot designed to make mostly straight audiences happy.
I can’t get over how disgusting the sister was actually, it’s so overlooked. Knowingly with a married man,…
Exactly, BL has had plenty of terrible women. But her behavior was soooooo ridiculous and wrong that it was kind of shocking. Especially since she got zero push back from anyone.
The twins are 27, Kut is 27, and Kimmon is 33 so yeah you're not far off.Two hot twins and yet they relegate them…
My Dream, Mint To Be, Cause I'm Your Boy and What the Duck all came out in 2018. I'd be surprised if this series turns out to be worse than any of them. But I'm not hating on 2018, there were great series that year too. This one just feels outdated.
I personally wouldn't call the twins hot, but it is confusing that companies keep casting real twins as side characters while also making series about twin characters with one actor portraying them. Seems like a big waste to me. But good casting decisions are rarely top of mind in low budget BLs.
I get it, they gave nothing but the tiniest crumbs of Dynamite and Fire every week because they didn't want this…
It would be so great if GMMTV started making series for more mature audiences. But they're making so much money off of kids and the sponsors target young audiences, so I'd be surprised if they change anytime soon.
I so agree with you; I'm not invested in anything either. I've watched many JBLs and have only dropped one (Ameiro…
The only notable JBLs I've dropped are Kei×Yaku: Abunai Aibou (not really BL) and Minato Shouji Coin Laundry Season 2. I finished Ameiro Paradox, I didn't love it, but I thought it was fine.
I'll probably finisb this because the episodes are short and it's more than half over.
I'd never call this OG's best series. But overall I enjoyed it. The simple story improved as the series progressed and the last two episodes were delightful. Even though the script could have been MUCH better, I can see why OG chose it. It was never irritating, offensive, scary, or cruel.
With all the intense series Gun usually does, I'm sure this was a nice change of pace for him. I also appreciated that Ten and Prem grew over time as did their intimacy. I saw a lot of people saying "Gun can't kiss", but Prem's first kiss with Ten and last kiss with Ten were COMPLETELY different. In the real world, first kisses of two timid mild mannered people are rarely deep and passionate. I think Gun knew exactly what he was doing with each kiss and portrayed them in a realistic way.
I originally watched this for OG and Neo and Neo gave another great performance. He never disappoints and it's nice that he's one of the few gmmtv actors who isn't tied to one ship. I would like to see him work with Aungpao again, but he'd be great with any actor. FyMy were what kept the show interesting in the middle and I'm glad they got their happy ending and Fy's mom apologized.
I was also happy Samsi got a happy ending. But I've got to admit the age gap threw me. In my mind Pim will always be Gun's baby sister and Dome is almost Off's age. I know it what a harmless epilogue but I'd rather see Paeng with someone closer to her own age.
Anyway, the series wasn't great. But I'd recommend it to any Babiis or anyone looking for a lighthearted uncomplicated BL.
This show is a true gem. Every single character is living their full life in a vivid and complex world. I love them all. Episode 7 highlighting that "family" can have so many meanings was really beautiful. I wish more BLs had such well written characters and layered plots.
But seriously, if anything happens to my favorite character I'm going to riot!!!!
I had no clue this existed. 3 minutes of perfection! It's amazing how some actors can display better chemistry in 3 minutes without ever touching, than you usually get after a full season with other actors.
I love JBL, I watch a lot of them. My favorite aspect of JBLs is that usually the characters seem like real people and experience/express a wide range of emotions.
I just binged episodes 1 - 6 and this just isn't clicking with me. Anyone who regularly watches JBLs isn't expecting a lot of (or any) skinship. But I do expect the main characters to spend time together. Here Kanda and Mizuki spend more time with Sakae than Soga does. And when Sakae and Soga are together it feels very one sided.
The show kinda feels like another Zenra Meshi. Both shows have food as an element that brings the leads together, a salaryman, a female character who takes up a lot of screen time, an ex who randomly shows up leading to misunderstandings, and a main "couple" together for REASONS. But I like Kanda and even though I hate slapping, she was right. I want to like Sakae, but I don't want him to get back with Mizuki and I don't think I want him to be with Soga either.
Idk, I'm not invested in anything, which is rare for me with JBLs. But it's ok, everyone can't love everything. And art is subjective, we all have our own reasons to like or not like something. I'm just glad we have so many series these days!
Generic but fine. This may have been a hit if it aired around 2018. I'll check back in in a few weeks to see if the story picks up. I think this might be better to binge than to watch weekly. The cast all look 30+ so seeing them in high school/college was slightly funny.
Jinta and Min steal my heart more and more each week! I love them so much. But it feels like that boss exists just to keep Karan and Achi apart. The boss is the worst!
I can't wait for the final episode. I wish we got more time with Hiro and Kai together, but I'll take any scraps of happiness I can get at this point.

I'll check in to see if it improves later.
