The first episode was fine. As others have said, Ohm has truly been type casted. So we are seeing him playing a one dimensional, tsundere, most stoic guy again. He's not bad here, but with such a short run time, I think it will be hard to connect to his character throughout the series.

Overall, I think will be better than many of the other Thai BLs that have aired recently. The mom is going to get on my nerves, so I hope she has limited screentime. But I think is perfectly watchable Sunday seires.

I watched a few minutes of the first episode when it originally aired. I agree 5.2 feels too high. But most BLs are rated at least 6.5 on here, so it's a bit surprising it got such a low rating from so many people.

Wow I like this idea, Zeke and Jerome could gaslight each other every single day and walk around under a big dark cloud together and no one else would have to suffer. Meanwhile Fifth and Kevin can go on silly dates and smile at each other day after day without all the cringy "dirty talk" that we usually get from Zeke.

If there's a season 4, I want those ships or I'm not watching!

But for real, you didn't force me to watch this Clockwork Orange style. Me not wanting to add yet another series to my long 2023 drop list and misplaced loyalty to these characters kept me coming back. No matter how bad it was every step of the way.

At this point all we can do is watch the last 2 episodes while trying not to break our devices out of complete disgust for what we've sat through all these week, smdh.

If the approximatly 15 of us masochists who stuck around till the end got t-shirts, I would be ready to throw a bonfire party, so we could burn the shirts and hopefully erase this trainwreck from our collective memories! Sticking with this is definitely my biggest BL regret of the last few years. I'm just glad the misery is almost over 🥲

I may have Stockholm syndrome, because no matter how much this series pisses me off and hurts my brain, I keep coming back.

Iris and Lorraine should have been in a different series. The actresses aren't bad, but the writer clearly doesn't give a damn about their story. This was one of the most rushed and underdeveloped relationships I've seen. These characters deserve a real plot.

Joel and Jason are trash like always. They want me to feel sympathy for Jason, but Jason created this problem for himself when he stole Joel's identity and then attempted to steal his "boyfriend". Jason and Joel stealing and framing Oliver is more of the same. Both Js are completely unlikeable. They could just leave Oliver and Matt alone and move on, but they have nothing better to do than behave like vengeful children because the writing SUCKS!

Hiro is once again the only one given anything worthwhile to do. Fifth is the only person that I don't want to scream at. This show focusing on his family should have been the main story of the series. There's so much to unpack in that family dynamic. I could write pages on how the parents' generation enabled men like Fifth's dad to literally destroy his own family with impunity while women like Fifth's and Linda insist that he's a good and loving man. But the decades of harm and actual death, he caused can easily be forgiven because of a few tears and 1 apology. This could highlight how religion, culture and patriarchy shape and sometimes harm people. The show isn't equipped to discuss such complex topics, so I won't waste the time.

Jerome pays no price for his abuse. Jelai is either being shrill or cowering. But their number 1 priority in spite of everything is finding a boyfriend, umm ok! Fifth's dad gets forgiveness, while Kevin, the scared, confused, lonely, gay kid is the ultimate villain because of about 2 total minutes of him being mean. Ok fine!!!! Kevin is the real problem, the guy with literally no friends or support system, who doesn't even want to go home. But Zeke is the love of Fifth's life deserving of a happy ending after a months long relationship filled with gaslighting, lies, bitterness, the silent treatment and an inability to ever accept responsibility for his actions. This is OUTRAGEOUS!!!

I'm so angry that this series had so many chances to not be despicable, but went out of its way every single time to do the wrong thing and send the wrong message. I should have dropped this after week two. But I've stuck around because after 3 seasons, I am invested in the characters. I just hate most of them and everyone who was involved in putting this sh*t on youtube 🤬🤬🤬

The fact that it's something different is what is intriguing me the most. It isn't another college, cooking or office series and I'm really ready for something I haven't seen dozens of times before.

As I was watching, I worried that the anti-omegaverse people would try to ruin this for the rest of us. Obviously there won't be mpreg, but I know the genre is still unpopular on here. Since irl omegsverse literally isn't possible, it doesn't seem like most harmful happening in BL/yaoi these days. But I know my opinion is in the minority, so I'll just watch the angry mob descend on the comments section 😮‍💨

After waiting 1000 years for this to air, I can honestly say it's even better than I expected. Because Pavel is just wow!!! I didn't know anything about it besides what I saw in the trailer and I would have never guessed that in a Thai BL, he'd be a bottom. FINALLY Tul isn't the only guy with muscles who's played a bottom. It took forever, but I'm calling this big progress!!! The Fast and the Furious with a power bottom, easily the most unique premise of the year. I can't wait for more.

It gives us something to look forward to after this series ends. Two episodes is better than none 😄

I guess I have to watch My Universe now because I feel exactly the same way. I hate the character. But I love seeing Winner!

It's so rare these days to watch a series that gets better each week. But this show does exactly that. I can't figure out what I'm loving more, Meen's acting, his back story gave me all the emotions or the cinematography, Bangkok has never looked so beautiful!

I'm gonna ignore Kenji, Wahl and the fallout Tew's decision is going to create in the final episodes because I want to focus on what I loved about the episode. And not the saddness and pain that's coming.

It's true, his casting directors always do a good job finding good looking actors. And some of them can act too.

I think that's kind of why episode 1 was so underwhelming for me. They billed it as a gamechanger, something focused unapologetically on sex. I was expecting sexy, but got cold pizza and a bunch of virgin jokes. They're young, so I'm not really judging, but it was a miss for me. If there was even a bit of eroticism as you suggested, I would have been a fan of the first episode. But that was nowhere and with what they set up, I'm not expecting it in future episodes.

In terms of realism/believability, I agree that implied rough sex is better than scenes filled with silly props someone found at a party store and wax drippings that they insist showcase rough sex like what we got in UN and BD. But at least I could laugh along with the absurdity of everything in those series. Especially UN. Here, I found nothing to laugh at.

I almost agree with everything you said. But Oliver and Kevin are the only ones I find attractive in Our Story. The sex scenes with Jason and his weird bandana are awkward and only enjoyable because the second hand embarrassment I get from hearing Oliver's pitiful attempts at dirty talk 🤦‍♀️.

Here I was also sad that the pizza did not play a larger role in the scene. The minute I knew he was a pizza delivery guy, I got mildly excited for a throwback type scene, but they failed to deliver 🤣.

The one guy's abs did peak my interest for a second, but because the edits happen faster than something you'd see in a music video, I had no time to enjoy that moment. The Titanic scene confused me, mainly because I've never heard of an artist who gets off WHILE painting. But to each his own.

The Catholic school virgin comment is spot on. For a series claiming to be full sex and focused on discussing sexual topics. It felt like I was watching nervous middle schoolers try things they heard about while watching tv or reading manga. Besides the gigolos, everyone seemed truly clueless. I also saw NOTHING I'd classify as "rough", but I'm not one to judge.

I was only surprised because this is one more series with twins. Idk who said we wanted every series to have twins, I must have missed that survey. But anyway, I've never seen a show by Copy A Bangkok that I liked. That's still true. They're making me miss Xion's horrible writing and random sex scenes. I'm not sticking with one. A simple google search can generate much better porn... cough... cough... I mean series than whatever this is trying to be.

We knew from the trailer that this was made for the very vocal fans who beg for NC scenes in every series. It's giving that, but nothing else. It gave me war of y vibes because it promised scandalous hook ups and look behind the current of sex through multiple types of relationships, but I was bored by the script and it really showed how amateur these "actors" are.

I won't judge the series harshly because I know I'm not the target audienece. But I've seen plenty of BLs with sexy scenes and actors who did great in those scenes. I saw none of that in the first episode. I know why so many guys in Thailand want to be in BLs. But I wonder if they realize that the majority of guys who have been in BLs never become famous and the ones that do become famous can usually act.

Oh well, if this does well, I'm sure 2024 will be filled with more series promising nothing more than sex. If it fails, at least the people desperate for NC scenes who don't bother to just watch actual porn will have this to rewatch.
