I know this show has gotten a lot of hate and kinda feel bad also piling on, but that episode was awful. It took me all day to get through it because each scene was dumber than the last.
Kang was becoming somewhat sympathetic after he stopped bullying, but nothing is more frustrating in a world full of skyrocketing income inequality and rising inflation than watching a whiney rich kid throwing money away like it's nothing over and over again! All the "danger" was because he's an idiot who happened to meet the nicest "bad guys" ever. So all of his problems were resolved immediately. It's obvious that Chimon and Perth have no romantic chemistry. Which would be fine if this was a bromance, but it's not. We know GMMTV has had a lot of success with ships who started out as friends and they've been trying to make this ship happen for over a year, sadly for all of us IT'S NOT WORKING.
A show like this with a flimsy plot and a lot of time fo fill needs a strong second couple to help with pacing. But we've got Marc and Pawin another "ship" that's going no where fast. The only interesting thing happening at this point is between Saifah and Name. But they only have a few minutes of screen time. There are so many great ships with older actors, but GMMTV always pushes older actors (25+) who aren't a listers to the back of a series. Pepper and Papang are better actors than most of the other cast members, but have been given barely anything to do.
I'm frustrated mostly because the series was interesting for a few episodes, but it's taken a nose dive since they started the love triangle foolishness that was just there to cause unnecessary drama and push the leads together. GMMTV can make good BLs, but this year has had more duds than good series.
Easily one of the best series of the year. Mature, subtle, sexy, funny and not overly serious all at the same time. Once again a Japanese BL shows how to tell a character driven story in a short amount of time. Every episode was great. There was no filler, no unnecessary side stories and no pointless drama.
Most shows with misunderstandings that could be resolved with one conversation are very frustrating to watch. But here the lack of communication or inability/fear to honestly communicate was the heart of the story. It felt so real and soooooo refreshing. Sometimes it feels like the days of JBLs made for adult audiences are gone forever. But this brought that era back while never really showing anything that could be considered 18+. A much needed reminder for audiences constantly expecting more nudity and sex scenes, a look and conversation can be more sensual than anything you'd see in a series made by Mame! The writer, director, cast and everyone involved in the series deserve awards. We need more series that are on par with this one!
I didn't read the manga and for me so far the series is fine. I'm probably spoiled because there have been so many JBLs that I've loved this year, but this one just isn't giving me the feels. As of episode 4, I'm enjoying the other 2 JBLs that are currently airing more than this one.
OH NO YOU DON'T....YOU'RE HERE TO THE END!!!!You don't desert your brothers and sisters in arms during war and…
I think people can't be fooled by that company anymore. We've given them so many chances and things just get worse and worse. BL is no longer new and exciting. Lots of people fell in love with BL during the pandemic and many of those people are over it. The people who still watch it have seen too many great series to stick around for a few good looking guys with horrible scripts. Oxin will never make a well directed show or make a show with a good script. Even if Chukchuk disappeared, the show is still awful.
The worst part is that there are soooooo many episodes left. This must be what hell feels like. I'll be back next week *sigh*.
Because Thailand has pretty much completely given up on having well written scripts in BLs, I won't fault this show for now having a strong story. I watched each week and I enjoyed the show. The actors all tried and Offroad showed how truly versatile he is as an actor. His smile lights up EVERYTHING and I hope him and Daou get a ton of endorsements and many more series together in the future. They are definitely my favorite new onscreen ship of 2023.
Not sure why this is getting dumber and more convoluted every week, but I miss when it was laugh out loud ridiculous. I feel like Diao is a child who obviously isn't ready to marry anyone. His mindset has clearly not progressed at all since the first episode and that's sad since it seemed like his relationship with Yi had finally reached a solid point.
The series pretty much over at this point and I'm just waiting for this maze of a script to reach the obvious finish line with the predictable happy ending. I missed Nong this week, that dog and Zee constantly being over everything are the only things keeping me going with this foolishness.

You're right. We should all suffer through this garbage together until the bitter and completely boring end.
I watched, I rolled my eyes, I shook my head, I sighed a lot, I saw Chukchuk and I'll be back next week.
I did laugh, but only when the message about not pirating the series appeared across the bottom. I wish someone would tell Zion that the views aren't low because people are watching this mess on other platforms. They're low because the writing is complete trash. No character motivations stay the same from scene to scene.
Thank you and Chukchuk for getting me off the ledge. All 50000 viewers can watch this dumpster fire burn together 🤣🤣
Stopping by to ask if anyone has recommendations for others bls with this type of dynamic other than My Beautiful…
As others have said there aren't really any BLs like this series, especially not made these days. But there are some older ones that are kinda similar, like A Round Trip to Love, Dark Blue and Moonlight, Double Mints, HIStory1: Obsessed, HIStory4: Close to You, Mood Indigo, Nitiman, No Regret, We Best Love and Addicted. Many of these could be classified as "toxic", but they have characters whose relationship dynamics are similar to the one in this series.
Knowing that this is airing on ViuTV is incredibly disappointing. I feel like we've been waiting forever for this, but international fans will likely be ignored given that company's track record with non-subbed series. *Sigh*
