I agree about Marc and Pawin My Gear Your Gown was really bad and the kiss was painful to watch like a dying fish…
Right, My Gear Your Gown was definitely one of the worst GMMTV BLs. I'd be happy with less of them and even more Perth and Chimon. Or more of the older brother and the gangster guy.

Every moment of Kang and Sailom is wonderful, but I'm kinda sad about how the episode ended with Pimfah. I thought she was another rare BL female character that didn't waste her time liking a gay guy. Hopefully that storyline doesn't drag out.

Am I the only one who has no interest in a Marc Pawin ship? GMMTV has tried to make this happen 3 times and every single time it falls flat for me.

Anytime a couple is forced to be apart for a long time because another person, usually a woman or parent who inserts themselves into the relationship, I feel a deep disdain for the other person. The trope is timeless and always upsetting for me. Mainly because it happens in real life and life is short. So when someone sabotages a relationship just because they can, it disgusts me.

Women like Joanne are always tragic characters because they gain temporary power or control by destruction. But those women are never really happy. Their relationships are built on lies, they never give themselves the chance to find love with someone who actually wants to be with them, the men they tie to them resent them forever and the children of these relationships grow up with uncertainty and confusion. All this to live up what society says is right. While the world goes on with their lives, these women trap themselves and the people around them in a hell they created.

Sorry for the rant, but I wish there were less Joannes in the world.

I'm so glad I found this series. I haven't seen many series made in Hong Kong, but the ones I have seen have had a gritty realism that was shown in this series too. I appreciated both stories. Hayden and Damien's was more in line with what BL audiences would expect. While Archie and Kelvin's was a more realistic queer story.

The writing was really beautiful at times and so was the cinematography. I get why some people thought it was rushed, but I was fine with the pacing, but I'm looking forward to the complete story. Like others have said, the budget was tiny and I think they did a great job conveying both stories in a short time.

Also, Archie and Hayden were the MVPs for me. The strength of both characters was amazing to watch.

If you're looking for a big budget BL, skip this series. And maybe don't rate it! If you know going in that you want a BL and you're not gonna get one here, why lower the rating for everyone else!?!?!? There are plenty of BLs out there for you!
If you want to see shorter series about gay men dealing with complex and sometimes difficult circumstances, I highly recommend this series. Please watch on their YouTube channel.

9NAA is clearly trying to create the worst BL of 2023 like they did in 2022. At least Check Out a great special episode. This show might be worse because it is missing everything that show had going for it.

I spent the first 20 minutes of episode 2 watching on 2x speed and frowning through every bad line of dialogue. Dropped!

I am sooooo glad they're finally moving past Phumjai constantly focusing on Tammy. We've reached the half way point and it's good that we're starting to spend more time on the main couple falling in love. And less on the plot device. Yay for story progress!!!

I absolutely loved this series!!! I binged it in one night and I'm sooooo glad I waited to watch it, because only seeing one episode per week would have been torture.

It's really rare to see a BL that gives almost equal screen time to 3 couples and it worked so well here. All three couples were great, but I did have a favorite. I hope the writer does many more series and also helps other KBL writers improve. The stories were simple, but super interesting and overall it was character driven. Which I love. This was easily one of the best BLs of the year and possibly one of the best KBLs ever made.

I can't wait to rewatch it. For anyone on the fence about continuing the series after the first episode, it DEFINITELY gets better!

I really like them too. MaxTul have always been (and will always be) my number one Thai BL pairing, but MosBank…
I am aware. My comment was posted before Tul graduated

Just when I thought Thai BL had peaked for the year with MLC and BMF, this series came out and stole my heart. It's so wonderful watching series that are well written, directed and have very strong lead actors.

The school setting gives me such happy nostalgia for older BLs but with a more mature subtext. And with the inclusion of Papang, the older brother who played Gumpa in Not Me, I feel like I'm watching an unofficial less political spin off of Not Me. Ok I'm fangirling too much, but I love the show so far!

It's sad that some BL fans refuse to consider shortcomings of series or tv characters and instead choose to make personal attacks on other viewers who share differing opinions. But even though BL is about love, some fans are not kind people and that's unfortunate.

Ok. In the real world a person whose boss, general manager and campaign model all had a crush on them, which helped them with one project, but they showed no skills as it related to their work, would not be looked at favorably by their other co-workers.

But it's not the real world, this is a tv show. None of these people are real. It would be very irrational to be jealous over a tv character. I assure you I'm not. This show is also so forgettable that I would have forgotten about the finale I watched hours ago already, if you hadn't started sending me messages.

I've seen enough great series to not care about shows or characters I'm not invested in. But I also have the right to come on here after finishing a series and share my thoughts. As I've been doing for years. If you like it, that's great. I know many people did. I did not and that's fine too. We're both entitled to our opinions. But I'm going to quickly move on from this one because I can't bother to spend more time on it or you.

I have no idea because I barely learned anything about the other interns. But I did see that the others were capable and able to complete basic office tasks. Unlike LJ for the majority of the series.

A missed opportunity with awful editing, almost no character development and a plot that went whatever way the wind blew. I'm sure many were happy with the kisses in the final episode, but I'm just glad it's over.

In the end completely under qualified LJ got the job and spot in his boss's bed. That part feels kinda gross, but whatever. He only got the internship because of his connections which isn't unrealistic.

But overall, this was the worst KBL of the year that I finished.
