That was disappointing. This is my favorite show airing right now and with only 2 episodes left, I knew they would have to cram a lot of plot points into the ending. But they just threw everything against the wall. Most of the character motivations completely changed. And after a season of watching two couples have quiet gay relationships, now forcing our main characters into the closet is NBD. WTF!!!! Our 4 main characters could have become allies to the juniors, but I guess this solution was "funnier" and gave Wat and Namo something to do.

I spent the entire episode wondering why the writer went out of their way to undermine so many strong characters in the second to last episode. I'm hopeful that episode 12 makes me forget about this mess and ends things on a strong note. The characters and actors deserve at least that much.

I feel the same way

I loved episode 2 even more than episode 1. The parents are wonderful and not just there to cause problems and put pressure on their kids. I'm liking Em and Gun a lot, but Name is my favorite. I hope the show doesn't skip too much time quickly to make them grow up fast. This show is a gem!

I'm really looking forward to this one. Na is good and Fiat is a really great actor. I hope lots of people watch it.

It's nice to see BLs with adult characters that aren't just focused on 18+ content. I liked all of the characters in the first two episodes. I'm looking forward to seeing the relationships develop.

It was someone looking for a big tax write-off. Some studio exec is making money off of this ridiculousness while all the rest of us suffer.

I guess all the viewers who have been waiting for kisses and sex are happy now, jk 🤡.

These writers aren't even qualified to write for an awful soap opera. Most of the audience watched for Phayu and Rain, but the writers went out of their way to destroy that. At this point, I'm only watching because it's a good sleeping pill.

I wanted to like this, but after two episodes I just want the rich guy and the landlord to get away from each other and stop whining and complaining. I usually like the enemies-to-lovers trope, but it only works when the characters have a spark that propels the relationship. In this show, both characters felt really bland. The landlord was just there and the rich guy was a rich brat whose dad probably should have made him grow up about 10 years earlier. It's only been 2 episodes and I don't think it's bad. I just don't feel invested enough to stick around for more episodes. I dropped Kissable Lips and Ocean Like Me so maybe I'm not the target demo for this series.

I'll check the comments after it ends to see if it's worth binging.

I can't remember the last time I watched a show where each week I spend nearly the entire episode smiling like a fool. I love Kan and Thua almost as much as I love Aye and Akk. With Takara-kun to Amagi-kun ending this week and this only having 2 more episodes I'm so sad knowing the sweetness of these relationships is quickly coming to an end.

This was the best thing since Old Fashion Cupcake! Every series doesn't need to be 18+. Takara and Amagi felt like real high schoolers which almost never happens in BLs these days. I loved the simplicity of the story and the innocence of all of the characters. In the end, Katori and Tanaka were all of us. 9.5/10, I demand a season 2!

I'm not attacking the man, just pointing out that he did not do a good job IMO. There are some basics when it comes to directing. Directors work with a cinematographer or handle the cinematography, scout locations, block the scenes, work with the actors to ensure that they are properly conveying the thoughts/feelings of the characters and at the end, edit the show or hire someone to do it. Directors have a big job and the main thing they do is tell a story. This director did not fail in every aspect of filmmaking, but he also did not convey the story well.

I don't remember this series well enough to break down everything that fell short, but from what I recall, the scenes were disjointed, the character motivations were weak, the show was not well-paced, the climatic scenes were telegraphed and fell flat, among other things.

I'm not saying this show is bad. As I said in my previous comment, I think it does a lot well and compared to other low-budget high school BLs I've seen, it's one of the better ones.

The director may be a wonderful person and even a capable director but I've seen Siew Sum Noi, Golden Blood and The Tuxedo . All had fine actors and a good premise. But none of them had strong direction and not many BL fans consider any of those series, that he directed to be very good.

I think I was a bit too fed up with the series when I left my comment but thank you for indulging my rage. But like you said, I really think the actors all deserve so much better and I wish they were in a better show.

Aww thank you. My sarcasm was at its peak when I made that comment. But there's something so absurd about the show, that I still kinda love how bad it is :D

This show has never been good, but there was enough camp in the earlier episodes to make it mindless fun. That's long over and I want to know why this even exists.

At this point, I'm so used to truly awful BLs this year that I can't even be surprised watching 45 minutes of nothing, with no plot developments and barely any acting by actors that I know can do better. So many fine actors have had their talents wasted this year in shows that are written and/or directed by people who have almost no BL experience and appear to loathe the genre.

Most viewers are only going to stick around for so long and when the bad series far outweigh the good ones, I start to wonder how much longer this is gonna last. Bad writers and directors always seem to get another series. But viewers never forget if an actor was in a bad series. KimCop, BounPrem, OhmFluke and too many more all deserved real scripts but instead got crap. At this point I want to know if these companies are trying to destroy BL?!?!!

Same. Sadly, these days some people only want skinship with perfect hair and makeup, smh.

I haven't seen something so sweet and wholesome in a LONG time. All 5 little boys were so precious and I want to protect Name at all costs. I love any BL with strong character development and we've gotten more of that in 1 episode than you see from an entire season of some series. Mean's hair and First's fake acne aren't distracting enough for me to love this any less. Can't wait for next week.

Finally, a Thai BL with an office setting that doesn't seem completely unbelievable or boring. Looking forward to 2023.

I haven't watched a series and felt this disconnected to the "plot" and characters in a really long time. They should have named it "Coffee Melody Crying & Smiles" because that's all there was. I liked that it wasn't set in high school or college, unfortunately everyone behaved like little kids. Jean and Nuea were slightly better than Yi and Pleng but only because they didn't break up for no real reason every other episode. Overall, I was extremely bored during each episode, but I didn't hate the show.

I didn't like the trailer, but I wanted to give the series a chance anyway and I shouldn't have bothered. As others have said, the production quality is higher than most BLs, but that's the only good thing I saw in the pilot. The characters were bland, the acting was weak and the plot was gross. Pilots should give people a reason to be excited to watch a series, episode 1 did the opposite for me.

When I saw "Star Hunter Entertainment" I knew I'd be disappointed, but this was worse than I expected. Two guys spending multiple episodes fighting over a girl is never what I want to see in a BL. But I considered sticking around for another episode until I saw the last 10 minutes. I'm not sure why the audience would be expected to look forward to a relationship between an attempted rapist and a guy who steals a sex tape, but I'm not. DROPPED

Another sweet and endearing episode. Slice of life stories are so rare these days, but I love spending time with Takara, Amagi and their classmates. Tanaka was the mvp of the episode. I thought he'd be creepy and overly aggressive, but he's actually a nice and thoughtful guy. So sad that there's only one more episode 😢
